It’ll only be in theaters those two days, so try to see it then.
Public schooling has become notorious for “inaccurate” and “immoral” teachings, Cameron says. (Gee, ya think?) He goes so far as to say America’s “public schooling system has become public enemy number one.”

In 2020-21, when they closed the schools because of King COVID, homeschooling increased 63%, to all-time highs. This year it’s slipped by 17% but is still way higher than it was before the pandemic.
Homeschooling has become more affordable and more efficient, while at the same time public schools have deteriorated into leftist propaganda mills. Critical Race Theory, Transgender, LGBTQetc.–not much time left for reading, writing, arithmetic or history!
I’m sorry, I’m getting carried away. Can’t help it. If any one factor can be called the leading cause of America’s decline, it’s public “education,” hands-down. We need Kirk Cameron’s movie. We need homeschooling. We need the courage to takes our kids out of those wretched public schools.
We need to save our country.
How long will it take Netflix to live down this caper? Or is it already too late?
I’ve steered clear of Netflix for years, ever since they aired their “Star-Spangled Salute to Abortion.” Lately an awful lot of people have been steering clear of it: so much so, that Netflix is suddenly, hurriedly, trying to clean up its act and get back some normal people for its audience.
And so the company has recently issued a “culture memo” that tells the wokies that from now on they won’t be allowed to “censor specific artists or voices” and that if they can’t live with that, it’s time they found another job somewhere else (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/restoring-america/equality-not-elitism/netflix-sends-culture-memo-to-woke-employees-saying-they-can-work-elsewhere).
And don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.
Is America about to shake off the evil spell that has blinded her eyes, tied her hands, and addled her brain for far too many years? Are we finally going to realize that we don’t have to obey the Far Left Crazy? And that we don’t need Netflix–or CNN, MSNBC, the Oscars, or the freakin’ teachers’ unions!–anymore? Not that we ever did need them.

Conservative candidates have won 10 out of 11 school board seats in Tarrant County, Texas (https://www.texastribune.org/2022/05/08/tarrant-county-school-elections-pac/). The one candidate who didn’t win outright will have another chance in a run-off election.
Nooze media seem disconcerted by the fact that conservative and Christian donors and PACs spent half a million dollars on these elections. (Boo hoo! Only leftids are allowed to do that!) The money was mostly spent on consultants who organized the campaign as a fight against teaching Critical Race Theory (all white people are evil racists, blah-blah) and stocking pornographic “gay” books in the schools.
You will find the “teachers” and their unions now saying there is no CRT being taught in public schools. The art of lying has greatly decayed. Dudes, inventing new names for it doesn’t fool us anymore. Especially when you’ve still got CRT listed as “a great resource” on the school district’s official website.
Finally the good guys are playing to win. Finally our side’s raising money to counter the annual largesse handed to the Far Left by the teachers’ unions.
Leftids, there are more of us than there are of you, and you’ll soon know it!

They were flying those flags; and now they won’t.
Far Left Crazy is gnashing its teeth over this.
Is Exxon deserting what they suddenly perceive to be a sinking ship? Is “Mene, Mene, Tekel” written on Woke’s walls? Is the long dark night of leftist lunacy about to be banished by a new dawn of sanity?

There’s so much bad nooze out there. But do you ever get a sense that much of it springs from… desperation? That Far Left Crazy is putting the pedal to the metal because they see America slipping from their grasp, just when they thought they had it all sewn up for the wokies?
Are we winning? And don’t yet know it?
Perverted public school teachers who bragged about their exploits on social media–and now paying for it. Court blocks The Regime from lifting Title 42 and allowing another surge of illegal immigration. Secret “gender transition closets” in the schools… exposed. The groomers of Disney Corp smacked down, but good, by the state of Florida. CNN+ canceled after less than a month. Elon Musk buys Twitter, and just might restore free speech to that corner of the social media. States banning the teaching of Critical Race Theory in the public schools. Throngs of parents attending school board meetings to object to all sorts of “education” abuses–and many of them now seeking seats on their local boards.
These make for a rather large pushback.
Two things we must do: pray unceasingly for God’s help, and work hard, very hard, to win the midterm elections and cast the Far Left Crazy out of office.
And that’s only the first step. We are confronted with the challenge of saving our republic. We must not fail.
I think he may have saved our country.
Far Left Crazy is furious with Senator Joe Manchin (D [really???]-WV) for shooting down the Biden Regime’s insane multi-trillion-dollar chock-full-of-waste-and-abuses “Build Back Better” scheme (https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/12/19/democrats-media-hollywood-and-never-trump-freak-out-after-joe-manchin-says-no-to-build-back-better/).
The normal portion of the country owes this senator a deep debt of gratitude.

Well, Joe, that’s that “fundamental transformation” your party was so hot to trot with, back in the Obama Dark Age.
Anyway, all the villains on Capitol Hill, the nooze media, and Hollywood are mad as hell at Manchin for scuttling their plans to wreck America. Unless you think “ballot harvesting” and ruptured borders and Critical Race Theory and transgender are somehow helpful to our country. But if you think that, there’s just no hope for you. Please leave.

My allergy attack seems to be abating, so it’s time to get back to work. A piece of my new book, a nice cigar, and a refreshingly cool day–and Phoebe’s hymn suggestion–have got me started up again.
I think I’ll build on that old Charles Atlas ad as the basis for a Newswithviews column. That I might build anything at all today seemed unlikely a few hours ago.

Your Christian and conservative bloggers and social media voices–including, if I may say so, me–need your support against Big Tech’s censorship. They’re trying to silence us. They don’t want to be too blatant about it, for fear of forcing Congress to rein them in, so they gradually chop us down–mostly by playing with the search engines (which they are now doing to Christians in China). Just make our blogs and comments harder to find, and fewer people will be viewing them.

I’ve been trying to decide how to review Senator Josh Hawley’s book, The Tyranny of Big Tech. He wrote it because he thought we need to do something about it before we’re all enslaved.
Why was I confused? He says Congress has to do this, Congress has to do that, etc. All well and good. But he also says Big Tech has infinite wealth and can buy off all of Congress if it has to and still have plenty left for birthday presents.
While I was talking with my editor on the phone this morning, it hit me.
It doesn’t matter whether Hawley succeeds or fails to mobilize Congress! He’s a U.S. senator, they have to take him seriously. They tried to prevent publication of his book–and failed. That’s gotta hurt. So yes, they’re going to take him seriously. They’re going to try and shut him down. Just wait’ll he runs for re-election. He’ll be suffocated by Big Tech’s money.
Yeahbut, yeahbut! It’s not Sen. Hawley who’s going to take them down. By standing up to Big Tech as he has, Hawley has made himself a target. He’s got their full attention.
But while they’re busy trying to knock him into yesterday, who knows who else might be sneaking up on them? Yo, Zuckerberg–you guys have made a lot of enemies. Playing God is a sucker’s game. Sooner or later God’s going to send some little thing, or some little persons that you never noticed, to cut you down.
When the Lord stops laughing at you, sunshine… it’s over.
