Friday night in Brooklyn, a 21-year-old woman stole a mail truck and purposely crashed it into “at least ten” parked cars before she was captured by police (https://nypost.com/2021/01/15/woman-allegedly-steals-usps-truck-crashes-into-cars-in-nyc/). We haven’t been told who she is or why she did this. One of the parked cars she rammed was a police car. She carried out her thrill ride for seven blocks before the truck conked out. They caught her as she tried to run away.
No, our culture is not at all right.
Every day we hear reports of crazy incidents like this. What’s going on here?
But I suppose that in a country where you can steal a national election and get away with it, nothing’s off the table.
With AG William “Kill the Clock” Barr moving on to greener pastures, our country’s next attorney general, according to a thoroughly unreliable source, will be the famous pirate, Long John Silver–whose motto, ”
Dead men don’t bite,” will usher in a whole new approach to American law.
The fact that Long John is a criminal will never count against him–“He’ll fit right in,” according to the Biden team–and the fact that he is a fictional character will count for even less.
“Fiction, schmiction!” exclaimed a well-known presidential adviser whose name I have forgotten already. “Didn’t you see that last election? The whole business is based on fiction!”
“Long John is a great believer in being smart–‘smart as paint,’ he likes to say,” said another prominent Democrat. “He will never let the Constitution get in the way of being smart. His whole career proves that! He’ll do anything that needs doing, if that’s what it takes to push through our agenda.”
A last-minute deal is being hammered out to make Long John’s parrot the next director of the FBI.
All right, now I know what to write for Newswithviews. Consider this a preview.
Even as we sit here watching, the Big Lie–or, if you’re a noozie, “The Narrative”–is being sculpted out of a lot of smaller (but still big) lies. Here are its chief components.
*There was no fraud in this past election (a real whopper).
*Donald Trump incited a riot at the Capitol (completely ignoring riots incited by Democrats over the past four years, including several invasions of the Capitol–but those, of course, don’t count).
*COVID-19 is the deadliest disease in all of human history, and fully justifies any and all draconian measures and abridgements of our civil rights to, er, fight it.
*America is an evil racist country in sore need of a fundamental transformation.
*Communist China is our friend.
*80 million people, who haven’t been heard from since, voted for China Joe Biden.
And there you have it–pushed on us by our Free & Independent Nooze Media morning, noon, and night.
Scanning the nooze this morning, I find myself feeling kind of downhearted; and I don’t know what to write. Democrats are chopping down and paving over what’s left of our republic. But you don’t need me to tell you that.
One thing I am sure of. Our sins, our sloth, our folly landed us in all this trouble. We might have stopped them from stealing the election, but we didn’t–too much trouble. So now we’re stuck.
If we can get out of this without losing our constitutional republic, if we can get out of this without losing our liberty, will we not know that God alone has rescued us? Would that be an important lesson to learn?
Donald Trump took on The Swamp, alone, no one in Washington loyal to him… and The Swamp won. It has too much money, too much power; and as big as it is, The Swamp itself is part of something even bigger–the rule-the-world partnership of global capitalists and Communist China.
In the Book of Judges, Chapter 7, Midianites have conquered and oppressed Israel and Gideon has raised an army to fight back. Verse 2: “And the LORD said to Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.” Gideon had raised an army of a little over 30,000 men. God had him send home all of them except 300–a hundredth of what Gideon had started with.
By the power of God and not by man, the Midianites were smashed and driven out of Israel.
God loves to use weak things to overthrow the strong; and He punishes the proud. He loves it when His enemies confide in their own strength, not knowing they’re practically begging Him to tear them down.
What shall we do? Politics and churches, popes and premiers, courts and commentators–the crazies have taken over, and all our worldly institutions–in which we put our trust–have failed us.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has two parables we need to hear.
Luke 18: 2-8–An unjust judge who fears neither God nor man is troubled by a widow woman who comes to him again and again, seeking justice. “Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continued coming she weary me” (v. 5). And Jesus asks His audience, “And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them?”
Luke 11: 5-8–A man is wakened by a knock on his door at midnight. It’s his neighbor, needing to borrow bread so he can feed a friend who has just come to him. The man in bed doesn’t want to get out of bed; but, “I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth” (v.8).
The lesson in both parables is the same, and speaks to us today:
Keep praying!
For one thing, it keeps up our connection to God–and we need that connection. For another, it states our faith in God, that He hears and answers prayers (which is what Humanist Manifesto II explicitly denies: they don’t want you praying). And for a third, God already knows what He is going to do and when He is going to do it, but we are His children by adoption and He will feel for us, He will care for us, He will know when the time has come to give us any particular blessing.
And it may be that, like the unjust judge and the man who’d already gone to bed, God will decide to give us what we need rather than be “troubled” by us forever.
Keep praying. We need deliverance out of the hands of wicked and ungodly rulers. It is in God’s power to grant us that deliverance. No evil empire ever rose without His decision not to stop it, because He respects our free will; and no evil empire ever lasted a minute longer than He decreed. As mighty as they are, He can throw them down in an instant. Ask the Assyrians.
Though He bear long with us… keep praying. He is God, the judge of all the earth. Keep praying.
It was early in the first year of Donald Trump’s presidency.
The fabulously corrupt and partisan attorney general of Pipsqueak Obama’s second term, Loretta Lynch–famous for her totally improper meeting with Bill Clinton on the tarmac at an airport, which resulted in all charges being dropped against the even more corrupt Democrat presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton–called on Americans to shed “blood in the streets” for… well, nothing in particular: just to show that interloper Trump who’s boss: the hand that rocks the riots rules the country (https://www.wnd.com/2017/03/loretta-lynch-need-more-marching-blood-death-on-streets/).
Today it’s the end of the world because there was a pro-Trump demonstration at the Capitol on Jan. 6 and some people–who may have been planted there by Antifa–got out of hand. Oh, the horror of it all!
But it was just peachy-keen for a former attorney general to call for riots. Just like it was totally okay for left-wing wackos to barge in on Congress during the Kavanagh confirmation hearings, and totally okay for them to pound on the doors and try to break into the swearing-in ceremony. Those were all applause-worthy because leftids did them. For which there were no consequences at all.
The double standard is always in place.
And now, thanks to massive election fraud, we have a Democrat government that has no right to be there but which will use the opportunity to do all the damage that it can to our country.
We have to think of some way to oppose them.
Meanwhile, don’t hold your breath waiting for any former Republican office-holders to call for riots.
Even with the election theft nailed down, even with all three branches of government in their hands and nothing to impede their destruction of America as we know it–even now, with them sitting in the catbird seat, Democrats’ hatred of Donald Trump is unquenchable. It borders on hysteria.
Why do they hate him so? Well, at least some of the reasons are obvious.
They hate him because he’s not one of them, not of the political class but an outsider. The White House is perceived as the exclusive property of America’s professional political class.
They hate him because throughout his campaign and during his presidency, he mocked our political big shots, got us peasants laughing at them, threatened to shake them off their pedestals.
But of course the unforgivable sin of Donald Trump was success. Remember Pipsqueak Obama saying America’s manufacturing sector was dead, “Those jobs are never coming back. What’s he [Trump] gonna do–wave a magic wand?” And within a few months of Trump’s inauguration, he had the economy humming again–and manufacturing was coming back, after all.
Totally unforgivable! He made our professional politicians look like the incompetent, feckless, bumbling, corrupt yinks that they are. He routinely did the things they can’t do, could never do. And in so doing, he forged a connection with the American people that they could only overcome by massive fraud.
They want to make sure that no outsider like Trump should ever again dare to run for president, and win. This is why they will not be satisfied with ousting him from the White House. Not enough: they will seek to destroy him–as a warning to others.
But we say, Thank you, President Trump! The good things that you did will now be undone. You couldn’t drain the Swamp, but you were the only one who tried. The Swamp got back at you, big-time. And now it will go back to feeding on us and on our labors. You tried to spare us that: shame on us if we ever forget.
We are watching “The Narrative”–that’s noozie-speak for a B.S. story that isn’t true–be crafted right before our very eyes.
*All the riots in all our cities for nine months were just “mostly peaceful protests,” no matter how much property they destroyed, no matter how many people they killed, injured, or terrorized. This was just real nice people demonstratin’ for Social Justice.
*There was no election fraud, no evidence of fraud, all as clean as a whistle–don’t believe your lying eyes. The fraud is going to disappear. You never saw it. You never heard it. Remember how they scrubbed the historical record clean of the Palestinian street celebrations on September 11, 2001. Millions of us saw them on live TV, but now we’re told they never happened, we never saw it.
*In contrast to the hundreds of riots staged this year by Democrats, the one riot–repeat, one–in Washington DC on Jan. 6, in which some people swarmed up the steps of the Capitol–well! That was completely intolerable! Everyone who was involved in it–whatever “involved” means–must be prosecuted! Six months ago, did you hear even one Democrat calling for prosecution of rioters? Even one?
*Hunter Biden didn’t do anything wrong and neither did The Big Guy, his old man, who got 10% of all the swag.
*The Russia Hoax was true after all. But no Democrat did anything wrong.
They’ve stolen the election, stolen our country out from under us. Well, even a tiny little gecko lizard will fight for his rights. There are 75 million of us, whose votes got canceled out by fraud. Are we less brave than a lizard?
No–but what do we do? We’ve never been in this kind of trouble before. With any bad luck at all, our country will be completely ruined before two years are past.
I don’t know what to do; but here are some parameters.
*It has to be something we can do. No daydreams about 75 million people all doing something all at once. Think in terms of not everybody, but big chunks of everybody. Think of thousands of citizens loudly booing Biden or one of his stooges whenever he appears in public.
*It mustn’t be something that punishes the innocent but which the guilty can just shrug off. Shutting down neighborhood grocery stores won’t make a dent in Nancy Pelosi’s stash of gourmet ice cream.
*Whatever else we do, we have to ensure that the truth is never buried. The truth is that Democrats, globalists, and other villains stole the election and left tons of evidence of it in their wake. But the nooze media–they never tell the truth, it would fry their forked tongues–will insist that it was all just a stupid conspiracy theory, there was never any evidence, blah-blah-blah. They’ve had a lot of practice burying the truth, and now they have Big Tech to help them. Don’t let them do it.
*In any way that can be done individually, let us drag our feet, hold back information, and do anything we can think of to frustrate the illegitimate government and show them what we think of them. We are 75 million strong and we create 90% of all the country’s wealth. If they put us all in jail, who’s going to pay the welfare checks?
*Never, never say that anything but fraud determined the outcome of the 2020 election. Never give in on that point. Never! Let millions of us state this truth every day, at every opportunity.
*If we could find a leader who makes Donald Trump look like a tame pussycat, go for it.
Now that they can predetermine the outcome of any election, and have made elections idle exercises and public support irrelevant, we may be entering a dark age from which nothing resembling our beloved America will emerge.
*Pray without ceasing. It may be God will hear us and have mercy on us, and set us free.
We are asked to surrender to and accept a government that has no right to exist. Seventy-five million of us–and we’ve been conquered by a home-grown enemy. What Hitler and Tojo couldn’t do, Democrats and nooze media and teachers’ unions have done.
If there has ever been a more shameful moment in our history, I don’t know what it is.
