Look back on how bad it was in 2016. I wonder now if our country could have survived without Donald Trump interrupting the madness for four years.

But now the inmates are back in charge of the asylum.

Ooh-ooh! I wasn’t allowed to say that, was I? After all, Democrats have shut down most of the mental hospitals and kicked out the patients who needed to be there. “Asylum” is not a dirty word. I means a refuge, a place of safety.

Yeahbut-yeahbut! You can’t say mad! What we have here is simply an alternative route to sanity.

I wonder if we’ll make it to November 2022 with anything of our republic still intact.

Wait a minute! BLM–does that stand for Bureau of Land Management, or Black Lives Matter? Does Biden understand the difference? Whom does he think he’s appointing to what? Somebody needs to check this out.

Meanwhile, what conceivable excuse could any Republican senator have for voting to confirm anyone nominated by this regime for any position? Why would these senators confirm any appointment by Mr. Senile? Dudes, this is simple–just say “No!”

Unless, of course, you believe that this old crock who spent the whole campaign hiding in his cellar really honest truly got more votes than any other presidential candidate ever and the whole election was like ultra-pristine and fair and honest–

If you believe that, you can vote with a good conscience, or with no conscience at all, to confirm another Far Left loon to a high position in the government.

Better confirm her to head both BLMs until we can sort out what The Big Guy wants.

Gov. Jay Inslee says you’re all guilty of “institutional racism”

While the rest of the country is up in arms trying to get “Critical Race Theory” thrown out of their schools, or banned from getting in, Washington State, back in May, “mandated” CRT for all its public schools (https://www.ntd.com/washington-governor-signs-bill-mandating-critical-race-training-in-public-schools_610411.html).

Because it teaches children to hate themselves, each other, their families, and their country, CRT is almost universally loathed. Only brain-dead white liberals–and that’s who’s governing Washington–like it.

I don’t know how I missed this story. Maybe it was one of those stealth nooze stories: “If we keep quiet about it, the rubes out there’ll never know it happened!”

So all pubic school teachers in Washington will have to endure a special “training day” that’ll teach them how to recognize and root out “institutional racism.” Note the existence of “institutional racism” is presented as a given. Liberals think they’re clever when they use sophomoric tricks of argumentation.

The question will become, someday… Can the rest of the country secede from Washington?

Here’s what Dr. Flip-Flop Fauci said on MSNBC (where else?) the other night:

“So if you are trying to get at me as a public health official and scientist, you’re really attacking not only Dr. Anthony Fauci, you are attacking science.”

Wow. He’s the very personification of science. Talk about taking yourself seriously.

Nowhere to go from here but to claim that he’s become a god.

So my wife sat down to take a You.Gov survey; and the first question on it was:

“Do you identify as [choose one] a) male  b) female  c) non-binary  d) other?”

She didn’t bother to take the survey. Why? Because that was a profoundly stupid question, that’s why! On a par with “Which Roman emperor do you identify as?”

If I say I “identify as” Marcus Aurelius, does that mean I am Marcus Aurelius–and most be addressed as such? If I say I “identify as” a freakin’ centaur, does that mean I am a centaur and that unless you pretend to believe it, and act accordingly, the government must punish you?

This schiff has to stop.

I refuse to believe that anyone is so deluded as to sincerely believe that a man who says he’s a woman really is a woman, and vice versa. This is crap. This is madness. Anyone who plays along with it has either been scared silly or is just plain silly.

Stop it now.

Yesterday it was the “two Moms” Army recruiting ad (https://leeduigon.com/2021/05/13/army-recruiting-ad-two-moms/). Today it’s this horror from the CIA. It’s another recruiting ad.

Describing herself as “a cisgender millenial”–do you know anybody who would introduce herself as a cisgender millenial? Would you want to?–she rushes on to parrot every woke cliche in the book. She’s intersectional! She’s against “patriarchal” this and that! She’s “a walking declaration”! I think I agree that she is. And–

She’s been diagnosed with “generalized anxiety disorder”! Hip, hip, hooray. Where do we put the statue?

But then what does the CIA do anymore, but undermine Republican presidents and try to help China? You don’t need to be sane for that. In fact, it helps if you’re a bit loopy.

So who’s defending the country? “Two Moms.” And who’s in charge of its security? Ms. Cisgender Millenial who’s not quite all there. Come on down and join the other nuts who run the CIA!

I feel safer already.

Democrats in charge. Lucky us.

I’m back on Newswithviews this week, last week my brain was just too tired to generate a column. Or rather, I just couldn’t decide which distressing nooze story to write about: there are always way too many of them.

A Tale of Two Follies

I’ve known good Catholics to hit the ceiling over this pope’s zany antics. They’d be funny if they were in a Peter Sellers movie. But don’t ever sell Red China short. They are not our friends; and when Nixon and Kissinger “opened the door” to China, all those years ago, they made an error that might yet destroy our country.

Meanwhile every liberal ijjit in the Western world wants to emulate the Chicoms…

It’s Foochy Fauci Time!

It hurts, really hurts, when you try to take this guy seriously.

Doc Fauci, America’s medical panjandrum, a bureaucrat having the time of his life, just won’t go away, he’s having too much fun.

Remember when he said, last year–and the New England Journal of Medicine agreed with him–that wearing face masks won’t protect us from King COVID, they’re not of any value outdoors… and that wearing them was only a symbol of “good behavior.” Wow. Suddenly we’re all toddlers again.

Now he’s saying it’s possible–meaning, it’s certain–we’ll still be wearing the masks in 2022 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1USHuud5i8). He’s also been toying with the idea of wearing double or triple masks, just in case you’re still breathing.

“We’ll give you back your freedom and your adulthood just as soon as we can guarantee a germ-free environment–honest!”

What if we don’t want to walk around as live symbols of good behavior? In God’s name, what kind of America is this?

It’s Dr. Fauci time.

Let’s just deal with all the nooze at once, and have it over with.

Y’know what I don’t understand, and can’t even imagine? What kind of chamber of horrors the Democrats and the rest of our predatory ruling class is trying to create–to replace our country. You’d think it’d be kind of nice to govern peaceful, law-abiding, quiet, prosperous people. But the Dems don’t think so.

Just a few of the abominations they’ve heaped on our country (and quick as boiled asparagus, too!)–appointing some fat guy who says he’s a woman assistant secretary of Health and Human Services; Drag Queen Story Hour; constantly striving to have more abortions; rupturing our county’s southern border so that millions of illegal aliens can come in and create chaos; keeping people out of church; restricting what we can say; trying again and again to disarm the public; defund the police and let rioters control our cities; using public schools, colleges, and universities to turn our young people into useful idiots; creating Cancel Culture; spreading racial hatred as energetically as they can…

This could go on all day. By the time we got to the end of the list, there’d be a new list just as long.

Question! Why do they do it? In what way is America to be the better for any of it? What do the Far Left crazies get out of it? What does “trans” do for them, that they push it as if their very lives depended on it? Why do they say off-the-wall crazy things that are obviously and demonstrably untrue, expect the rest of us to say them, too, and try to destroy us if we don’t?

What will America look like when they’re finished trashing it? What will it be like to live here, with weirdos and freaks–and thieves, of course–in charge of everything?

They promise us utopia, but they will surely give us Hell. Don’t we already know that? Did everybody just sleep through the 20th century? Mao and Stalin and Hitler and Pol Pot and all the rest of it–but how many of you out there have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about?

O Lord our God–we implore you, intervene! For your own name’s sake, forgive our sins and deliver us out of the hands of ungodly wicked tyrants. They hate us for your sake, and hate you for ours. Deliver us, Almighty God! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
