Here’s former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo–resigned in disgrace, in case you forgot–pledging his government to drop the hammer on weddings… which he kept saying were “against the law,” although no such law had ever been proposed, much less passed.

A lot of readers see these stories and think, “Well, they elect these jidrools, it serves them right.”

But that does not take into account the Democrat Party’s addiction to election theft and fraud.

Let’s see… gas stoves, gas-powered cars, ceiling fans, beer and wine… What else does The Regime intend to take from us?

Really, how far do they mean to go? Children aren’t allowed to drive, or purchase alcoholic beverages, and probably they ought to be kept from operating stoves or ceiling fans. Those are adult things. Are we, as adults, to be forced back into childhood?

Meanwhile, the global government crowd wants to take our meat and make us eat bugs, and live in “15-minute cities” where you can’t drive anything but an electric car that you can’t afford.

And it’s all for our own good, right? Government knows best! We love Big Brother!

Massive, overwhelming, uncompromising civil disobedience–is that where we have to go, if we want to keep our liberty? Our very adulthood?

Early in the 18th century, about the only place in the world where individual liberty survived was on board a pirate vessel. By the end of that century, and by dint of fearless sacrifice, that changed. The United States was born, the Declaration of Independence enshrined, the Constitution ratified.

Let’s not give up on freedom now. It won’t be easy to get it back.

Boy howdy, I didn’t know we had an “alcohol czar”! But we do, one Dr. Koob (rhymes with…)–who sez the government gotta regulate our lifestyles by cutting us back to two drinks (beer or wine) per week.

Men can have two drinks per week, women, one. Is that quite fair?

Back in high school U.S. History we learned the country had Prohibition in the 1920s and it didn’t work worth a damn, all it did was make Organized Crime rich and powerful. Does Dr. Koob not know about that? National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism… “We are comin’ for your beers, pilgrim! We are comin’ for your wine!”

Yeahbut, yeahbut! It’s for our own good! The government knows what’s best for us!

Anything else you’d like to sink your claws into, you vultures nesting on Capitol Hill and Pennsylvania Avenue? If we ever needed pest control, we need it now and need it there.

[Editorial note: If they really want to cut back on beer consumption, why not hire Dylan Whatsisname to endorse a lot more brands? Look what he did for Bud Lite.)

Saving The Planet by restricting your choices!

Woo-hoo! Here comes The Regime to wipe out another one of your choices.

They want to impose “new standards,” driving an estimated 30 percent of smaller manufacturers out of business… and you will have the ceiling fan They say you should have, or none at all.

But I think They won’t allow you not to have a ceiling fan. You’ll have to have one, or your smart meter will rat you out and they’ll take you away to have your mind made right.

“We make things work for you.” More like “We make you work for things.”

We received a notice from our power company yesterday warning us that we’ll be charged an extra $12 a pop for meter-reading unless we agree to let them install a “smart meter.”

We are not told what’s so “smart” about it. Or what it’s supposed to do for us.

When a liberal pitches something, anything, as “smart,” you can be pretty sure they mean something that will give THEM more control over your life. Business customers, by the way, will not be allowed to opt out; for them, smart meters will be mandatory (there’s that word again–and how they love it!).

Something bad has happened to the whole idea of America as a free country. It seems our Constitution has a harder and harder time protecting us.

Our country’s founders did their best to keep that from happening; but now it’s up to us.

Bloomberg on Groundhog Day–back before every day was Groundhog Day.

I, for one, am afraid of Michael Bloomberg. He’s always up to mischief, and doesn’t care–really doesn’t care–how much money he has to spend to get what he wants. And as a multi-billionaire, he has plenty of money to spend.

Who’s Afraid of Bloomberg?

Bloomberg’s international “climate group” aims at banning meat, dairy, and private car ownership by 203o. Wonderful! It’s as if there is no Bill of Rights at all, and never was! They can just do anything to us that they please.

But it’s all for our own good! We don’t know what our own good us, but we don’t have to: liberal geniuses will do all our knowing for us.

God defend us.

Is it me, or does the nooze really keep getting worse and worse?

A “climate” group headed by former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg–the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group–aims to ban meat, dairy, and private car ownership by 2030 (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/08/great-reset-report-reveals-globalist-climate-organizations-goal/)–there’s that “pro-choice” mob again, trying to take away our choices. Fourteen US cities, including New York, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle–all “Blue” cities run by Democrats–have signed up for this… and, supposedly, 100 cities world-wide.

Is America going to surrender to the globalists? Okay, every time we get restless, they’ll hit us with another pandemic–you know it’s coming, probably in time to screw up our 2024 elections. Are we really going to let them do this?

Six more years of freedom–and then we’ll be eating bugs and cabbage leaves and be unable to leave because we don’t have cars. I’m not counting Electric Vehicles because they cost too bloody much and only Our Betters can afford them.

They are out to erase our freedom, and they do mean it.

We need to get those Constitutional Checks and Balances back into shape.

Always watching, always, for the wrong kind of car!

Across the sea in London they’ve found a new way to Save The Planet and make ordinary people’s lives complicated and miserable: simply declare big swathes of the city “Ultra Low Emission Zones,” put up hundreds of cameras to spy on people, and fine them big-time for “driving the wrong kind of car” (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/08/cameras-go-punish-drivers-name-climate-change-vigilantes/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=cameras-go-punish-drivers-name-climate-change-vigilantes).

What’s the wrong kind of car? Oh, pretty much anything that you or I might be expected to own. Little fines, big fines, all kinds of fines.

So far they’ve got this covering 147 square miles with ULEZ, with plans for several hundred more. As by the wave of a magic wand, suddenly your car is the “wrong kind” and you’re up a tree. Residents are fighting back by vandalizing the cameras. They took out 96 cameras in May; more recent figures are not given.

Government, as George Washington observed, is “a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” Government is not your friend. It has become predatory, parasitic and increasingly insane. Some think of us as slaves, others as children: they do not mean us to be free.
