This New York county has a rule against any high school football team winning by too many points. They actually made a rule against it. Score too many points, and you’re outta here!
What lesson does that teach?
I re-run this post every now and then because it drives home two major points:
1. Public education is beyond repair. Get out while you can.
2. Living in a Red State like Texas means nothing at all; the same wacko “educatorxs” control public schooling in all 50 states.
How is it even possible to “threaten” anybody with a magic ring? Do “teachers” not understand that there is no such thing? This, by the way, was the Kermit Elementary School–named for Kermit the Frog?–in Texas. You don’t have to be in Massachusetts or California for your kids to be “educated” by idiots.
Why are your children still in public school? What kind of magic have they used on you?
You’d think we wouldn’t tolerate people who purposely stir up strife, who want us at each other’s throats. But we do… We do.
No one does more harm to America than our teachers’ unions. And yet we don’t remove our kids from union-dominated schools. We really hate Critical Race Theory, we demand they stop “teaching” it… and all they do is change the label, and all we do is let them get away with it.
If it’s left up to the teachers’ unions, America is finished.
No, we don’t like it!
The Maryland State Education Assn. (MSEA), a state teachers’ union that’s part of the National Education Assn. and has 75,000 members, has offered grants of $1,000 each to teachers who continue to teach “Critical Race Theory”–the doctrine that all white people are born racists and all non-whites born victims (https://www.realclearpolicy.com/articles/2022/10/11/race-baiting_crt_still_high_on_teachers_unions_to-do_list_858228.html).
But because almost everybody in America detests CRT, they’re giving it new names. “Restorative justice” heads the list. And then there’s the Biden administration’s $468 million “community schools” program, chock-full of euphemisms for Far Left race-baiting.
Many teachers have left the union rather than engage in campaigns to foment racial animosity; and parents have staged protests, too, despite the Biden Justice Dept. branding them “domestic terrorists” and ordering the FBI to spy on local school board meetings.
Teachers’ unions are solidly locked in to CRT and rather than give it up, they simply invent new names for it. Obviously they think the American people are way too stupid to see through that.
They’re not going to stop. They’re not going to change. And so we are forced to say again: the only meaningful way to oppose this is for parents to remove their children from the public schools and wrest them out of the hands of the teachers’ unions. There is no reason to believe that anything else will work.
We won’t be able to save our country if we don’t do this.

A recent poll of college students by the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education featured some distressing results.
Among current college students, 23% “identify” (whatever the hell that means) as LGBT; but in ritzy liberal arts colleges, the average is 38% and in some places “up to half the student body” (https://www.manhattan-institute.org/polarization-about-get-lot-worse-students-are-even-more-divided-we-are-opinion).
Well waddaya know? Propaganda works! It really works!
Why wouldn’t these wretched college students identify as homosexuals? You get constant praise from Important People who really matter! All through school your teachers have pushed you and encouraged you. Probably your folks hid their heads in the sand: very intoxicating stuff, knowing that your parents are afraid to cross you. The government loves you, Hollywood loves you, the United Nations loves you! And anyone who doesn’t had better watch out!
And please, no raking up ancient cliches about liberal arts colleges and how nothing ever changes.
Remember this easy rule of thumb. In considering any societal change recommended by Democrats and other parasites, simply ask, “What would happen if everybody did it?” And if the answer is “The human race would go extinct”–well, then you know where you are.
How do some of these teachers keep their jobs? I mean, we know that Far Left zombies come out of teachers’ colleges–but aren’t they supposed to at least make an effort to hide it?
Well, why bother? They’ve got our kids, that’s what matters.
There is no way to “reform” public education. The rot is way too deep. Children must not be left in public schools.
At least read up on homeschooling co-ops, or individual homeschooling, or Christian schools in your area. Unless, of course, you want your kids “taught” by Far Left zealots devoted to stirring up racial paranoia and transgender mania.
Is it us, finally seeing what was there all along? Or has “education” really and truly run right off the rails in just the past few years?
I pose that as a question to my readers. What do you think? ‘Cause I can’t quite decide what I think. Sometimes one way, sometimes the other, and sometimes both.
They are pushing “transgender” like they’ve gotta get it done or die tomorrow. They are fomenting racial animosities. They are grooming children, some of them as young as kindergarten, for sex. Crikey! What kind of people have they got coming out of the teachers’ colleges? And who’s teaching them?
It has begun to spill over into religious schools. But the public schools are lost, broken beyond repair. As long as teachers’ unions stand in the way, the schools will never be fixed–not even a band-aid. Our only practical alternative is homeschooling. Pull the kids out and watch the public schools go bust. Convert the buildings to some other use. Let the former teachers’ union wackos pump gas or sweep the floor at the 7-11.

Just one of many “lessons” taught in the schools by groomers
Florida now has a law prohibiting school teachers from talking sex, sex, and more sex with children in grades K-3. There is, of course, no reason why any sane person would want to do that. But leftids think it’s an evil plot to inhibit children from becoming homosexual and trannies, so they call it “the Don’t Say Gay Law” and have their knickers in a twist over it.
But why would anyone want to “teach” young children about the endless varieties of aberrant sexual behavior? “Shut up!” they explained.
Lately the term “groomers” has been catching on. More and more people use it to suggest that these “lessons” are taught to prepare children to become the sexual playthings of older perverts: “grooming” them for it. The fact that the label’s catching on suggests that the public is catching on–and doesn’t like what it sees.
So libs and teachers’ unions have been going bonkers over it, frantically objecting to that label being applied to them (https://redstate.com/bonchie/2022/04/06/liberals-freak-out-over-being-called-groomers-n546263).
Well, sunshine, you reap what you sow. If you don’t want to be called groomers, stop trying to immerse very young children in your twisted visions of sexuality. For that matter, don’t do it to older children, either.
See how long the grooming lessons last, if paying school tax ever becomes optional.
Not that anybody really, truly needed a judge to tell us so, but as of last week, it’s official: the Fairfax County (Virginia) school board’s “equity policy” is, a federal court judge declared, “flatly illegal” (https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/4046322/posts).
What do schoolies mean by “equity”?
Well, in this case, “equity” means that wherever school officials find any group of whoever “under-represented” or “over-represented” in any aspect of school life, it’s probably the result of [trumpet fanfare] Systemic Racism–and it requires “positive” racial discrimination to correct it. For instance, if Asian kids make up, say, 15% of your student population, but 45% of your Advanced Placement science students–well hell’s bells, we can’t have that!!! Gotta weed some o’ them Asians out of AP! And replace them with kids who aren’t anywhere near as qualified… so then you’ve got to lower the standards and here we go again…
The judge issued a summary judgment against the schools’ “equity” baloney.
That means they have to stop.
Remember–it’s only “racism” when we do it! When they do it, it’s “equity.”
Down with public education. Make it go away.

Somehow nothing like this ever happened when I was in high school.
A teacher at a Florida high school–see? even in a Red state, your kids are not safe from public “educators”–has been placed on paid administrative leave (they never get fired) for… oh, boy… biting two students (https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/central-florida-teacher-charged-for-allegedly-biting-students-over-jar-of-pickles/2708239/).
Seems the Educator took a jar of pickles from the school store without paying for it, and when the two kids minding the store tried to take it back… she bit them.
(“Well, I heard they hadn’t had a bite in three days–so I bit them.”)
She admits to having “licked” the students. Oh, well, schiff, that makes a big difference, doesn’t it?
What does a public school teacher have to do, to be fired outright? Commit suicide?
