Is Greta a Sock Puppet?

Last week a “bug” in Facebook’s system revealed that Greta Thunberg’s Facebook posts had been written by her father, Svante, and a “climate activist” named Adarsh Prathap, who lives in India and works for the United Nations Climate Change organization (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/01/facebook-glitch-reveals-greta-thunbergs-posts-are-written-by-her-father-report/).

Is there anything at all about “Climate Change” that’s not phony? Like, Ol’ *Batteries Not Included yaps on and on about rising sea levels, then buys a mansion a few yards above the high-tide mark on Martha’s Vineyard. Do these people ever tell the truth? (Hint: No.)

So we have adults hiding behind a troubled 16-year-old girl who’s been anointed Time’s Person of the Year and Scold O’ the World, pretending that these jewels of wisdom are coming straight from her–isn’t that shameful? But we see this tactic every time there’s a teachers’ strike, or anything else the Left wants to put over.

You’re not allowed to verbally smack down a child, so these Global Government wannabes hide behind a child. What heroes.

And they wonder why we don’t believe them.

Pardon My Circumlocution

I want to write about a smear campaign, but I don’t want to say who’s being smeared or what particular lies are being told about this person. For one thing, it’s a sin to repeat stuff like that. For another–it’s what the smear artists want us to do. Because even if we’re tearing into them and their lies, it’s giving them more publicity–more people who just might wind up believing them.

But something has to be said. Do you see the kind of America the Far Left Crazy is trying to build? This is Democrats at work, with their toadies in the nooze media. They want to cage us in an America where they can destroy anyone, instantly, with unsubstantiated lies: anyone who poses any kind of obstacle to any of their plans.

They want the lie to stick to you even if it’s been exposed as a lie; their tame noozies will see that it does. Sort of like those “racist” labels they stick on four-year-olds in British schools: you’re stuck with it forever.

And it can be any kind of lie they want. The object is not to prove it, but simply to create it and glue it onto the victim’s name. Noozies will then repeat it every time the victim’s name comes up. Eventually some people, maybe a lot of people, will forget it was a lie.

Democrats are refining this into an exact science.

If America can survive as a free republic, under so much attack from within, that will be proof that God is watching over us.

Startling Discovery! Jail Really Works

Walter Williams yesterday reported an eye-popping, jaw-dropping fact.

From 1991 through 2017, thanks to higher rates of incarceration, our country’s violent crime rate fell from 758 cases per 100,000 people to 382 (https://townhall.com/columnists/walterewilliams/2019/09/04/criminologists-mislead-us-n2552448)–a decrease of almost 50%.

Putting the bad guys in jail reduces the crime rate. Dramatically. Wow! Who would’ve thought it?

Well, professional criminologists wouldn’t have permitted themselves to think it. It’s amazing, how hard they work to remain blind and deaf to the freakin’ obvious. But Dr. Williams reports that in the field of criminology, liberals outnumber conservatives, 30-1. And no liberal ever lets facts get in the way of narrative.

According to a study by the National Academy of Sciences, from 1928 to 1960 the crime rate rose slowly every year; but after the 1960s, and into the 1990s, the rates “exploded.” The rates only came down when courts stopped letting criminals walk and got serious about taking them out of circulation.

So now, today, Democrats increasingly whine about “mass incarceration” and want murderers, armed robbers, rapists, gangsters, and thugs sprung out of jail. Translation: They want them voting for Democrats in the next election. If they can’t get that, Bernie Sanders has suggested bringing the voting machines into prison and letting incarcerated felons vote while doing time.

They even have the gall–really, this can’t possibly be sincere: no one’s that stupid–to complain that putting goons in jail for violent crimes, and keeping them there, “took minority men out of their neighborhoods” and hurt minority families. I can’t believe anybody said that.

I wonder when Democrats will start calling Walter Williams a white supremacist.

People who hate truth hate those who tell the truth.

Preposterous Lies

Why tell preposterous lies that no one but a total ignoramus would believe?

You know that roaring economy that has gone along with Donald Trump’s presidency, largely as the result of his actions? Well, t’other day goofy Joe Biden tweeted that that’s not the Trump economy–Trump’s just taking credit for the Obama-Biden economy.

Does he think we have amnesia? Like, we can’t remember Obama telling us that manufacturing jobs are never coming back, we’re stuck in the new stagnant normal–and snarkily demanding of Trump, “What’s he gonna do? Wave a magic wand?”

The flatlining of the economy during the eight miserable years of Obama-Biden has nothing to do, nothing at all, with the vibrant economy we’ve had so far with Donald Trump. When Obama and Biden were in office, did we ever hear them say, “Hang in there, it’s going to take our policies a little more time to work, but economic recovery is coming soon and it’ll be big”? Uh… no! Not until… now!

So what is the point of saying things which you know to be untrue–unless, of course, you suffer from delusions–and which your listeners know to be untrue? Are Democrats convinced that most people will believe them? Because they’re stupid? Because they pay no attention to current events? Because they can’t remember anything? Because they don’t have the sense that God gave a magazine rack? That these poor dopes so far outnumber ordinary intelligent, aware, sensible citizens that it’s a waste of time to talk to any audience but the dummies?

We mustn’t discount the possibility that as for many of our politicians, the truth just isn’t in them. I don’t believe Hillary Clinton, for just one of many examples, can tell the truth. About anything. On purpose. And meanwhile we have our colleges and looniversities teaching that there’s no such thing as the truth–only “your truth” and “my truth,” and whoever owns the keys to the jailhouse wins.

Some 2,400 years ago, Herodotus wrote that the Persians became a great nation because they taught their sons two things: to shoot the bow… and tell the truth.

I don’t believe anyone who’s not off his rocker will say the same for us.

Have They Really Changed Our Morals?

I saw something on video last night that troubles me.

We were watching a BBC crime drama, fairly new, Shetland; and into the middle of the story, for no reason that had anything to do with the plot, the writers dropped a “gay relationship” between two young men.

And of course, when this came to light, every freakin’ character in the play was totally cool with it, and the one kid’s father abjectly apologized for not being AOK with this and had to promise his full support from then on–having to earn his son’s approval, don’t you know. Even the lad’s grandparents–who now know they won’t be having any great-grandchildren–are just thrilled to learn their grandson has a boyfriend. They practically turn cartwheels over it.

Excuse me! Can this possibly be true? That right here, during the snap of the fingers that’s my own lifetime, behavior that’s been condemned for thousands of years, by virtually every human society on earth, is now applauded? How did that happen? I mean, okay, I was here, I saw the “gay” activists and their sponsors work day and night for this, tirelessly, fanatically: but still–!

Can it truly be that they succeeded in changing everybody? Damnit, the Soviet Union outlawed religion for 70 years, and the commies weren’t shy about persecuting Christians and Jews. They shut down churches, arrested the clergy, and indoctrinated several generations into atheism–complete with youth camps. Young Pioneers! Komsomol!

And today there is no more Soviet Union, but the Russian Orthodox Church is stronger than ever.

So is it true that a bunch of “gays” succeeded where the coercive might of the Soviet Union failed?

Is it true–or is what we’re seeing only wishful thinking, and subtle messaging, by more “gay allies” among the entertainment media?

If they really, truly have won universal approval of homosexuality, then why do they have to keep running to the courts to get their agenda shoved down our throats? Why is it necessary to hunt down the last Christian baker in a city and try to force him to create a “gay wedding” cake? Why should they even care, or even notice, that a few dozen people still aren’t with the program?

I don’t accept what I’m seeing on the screen as reality. Okay, sure, liberals, Democrats, moral anarchists–they’re on the bandwagon, they don’t have to be coerced. But those are not normal people! If they are, then “normal” has indeed fallen upon hard times.

I think our little playmates in the media are trying to hypnotize us.

And worst of all, most damnable and blameworthy of all, is the way “liberal” churches, seminaries, and individual clergy have rejected God’s word and taken their own words into their mouths as a voice of lying prophecy, attempting to deceive the Biblically illiterate. They themselves are probably strangers to the Bible. They run as fast as they can to keep up with the “Gay is Good” campaign. That their phony “churches” are hemorrhaging membership does not seem to concern them.

But then if the media were telling the truth about the state of our civilization’s morality today… those churches wouldn’t be losing all those members, would they?

Right Before Our Eyes, a Lie is Born

Never mind Nancy Pelosi’s gift for annoying normal people and appearing to be one step short of going loopy. You don’t have to watch all 11 minutes of this video to see where she’s coming from.

What matters here is that the Democrat Party, right before our very eyes, even as we watch, is creating yet another vast, towering lie.

First Pelosi asserts that “Trumpcare”–any Republican legislation designed to replace the disaster that anyone but brain-dead liberals calls Obamacare–will visit “devastation on the lives of American families.” Don’t you love it when liberals pretend to care about families? Calling any effort to replace Obamacare “a catastrophe,” she predicts “heart-stopping premium increases”–which was, in truth, one of the major features of Obamacare–and foretells doom for “millions of families…” And so on.

It really is amazing to watch this unfold. Aided by the lock-step nooze media, Democrats are trying to create a gigantic lie and embed it in the mind of America. And the lie, a true whopper, is this:

Obamacare has been a fantastic success (untrue), everybody loves it (untrue), there was no down-side to it (those tens of thousands of jobs lost, and even more full-time jobs cut down to part-time–like, that never happened!), and without Obamacare, no one but the super-rich will ever get basic health care in America again.

This is a lie of truly Brobdingnagian proportions. It takes one’s breath away.

Can they possibly make it stick? Can they really, truly, get anyone but college putz-heads to  believe it?

God help us if they can. Because that will mean that we, as a nation, have lost all power of discernment and can no longer see through even the most preposterous lies.

Wow Your Friends with These Astounding Facts!

“Unknowable” had a cool idea last night: just whip up any old thing that would stretch the credulity of a three-year-old, call it “settled science,” and presto–you’ve got a liberal column.

We can do this because liberal “facts” (e.g., “Socialism really works”) are not facts at all. Denying that there’s any truth, they can’t very well have facts. Instead, there’s only whatever helps them get their way–this they label “truth”–and whatever doesn’t. They will deny that they’re denying anything, if that’s what they think they need to do at the moment.

With this in mind, we present the following eye-popping false facts, which you can trot out for any conversation and impress your hearers with your wealth of esoteric knowledge.

*That little “Speedy Alka-Seltzer” in all those old commercials was played by Katharine Hepburn.

*The Hawaiian language was only invented in 1960, in support of Hawaii’s statehood movement. Prior to that, Hawaiians all spoke Welsh.

*The world’s largest insect is the Laotian Burping Mantis–four to five feet long and weighing, when full-grown, sixty to eighty pounds.

*In the Middle Ages it was very common for men of the nobility to propose marriage while standing on stilts.

*The gall bladder is the only organ in the human body that functions equally well when turned inside-out.

There you go–run a few of these up the flagpole and see who salutes ’em. If your hearers are prepared to accept these assertions as fact, you should be thinking about starting a career in higher education, advertising, or politics.

The University: Where Young Minds Go to Die

Hey, remember Janet Napolitano–Big Sis, former head of Homeland Security? Well, she’s now president of the University of California, and she’s come out with a big new list of things that no one will be allowed to say in any UCal schools ( http://nypost.com/2015/06/15/the-dont-you-dare-say-that-drive-for-campus-diversity/ ).

The stated goal is to produce “diversity” through enforced uniformity of thought.

For instance, Big Sis opposes what she calls “the myth of meritocracy,” so there will be a taboo against saying “I believe the most qualified person should get the job”–because that’s wrong, that’s bad, and it really means “People of color are given extra unfair benefits because of their race.”

Hmmm… You mean they aren’t? Never? What was Affirmative Action all about, then?

Big Sis has been handing out tracts with titles like “Tools: Recognizing Microaggressions and the Messages They Send.” You remember “microaggression,” right? ( http://leeduigon.com/2015/05/12/how-liberals-make-human-life-unliveable/ ) It’s virtually anything you say or do or think that some liberal doesn’t think you should be allowed to say or do or think. There is to be no microaggression throughout the UCal chain!

This era of history is an embarrassment. Authority figures, from the lowliest idiot teaching school to the most exalted fat-head in Washington, hand down ridiculous lies and promote crazy policies. They tell lies that even a simpleton should be able to see through (like “Bruce Jenner is now a woman”), and when they get caught lying, they just keep right on lying like nothing happened. If they’re left-wing liars, they know the nooze media will cover for them.

But as for everybody else, down there among the great unwashed…

You miserable peasants don’t even know you’re racists and homophobes and cissexists and whatever, everything that comes out of your mouths is microaggression, so just shut up!

They won’t be satisfied until they’re able to sew our mouths shut.
