Methodists Reject ‘Gay’ Agenda

There’s wailing and gnashing of teeth in liberal-land: yesterday the General Conference of the United Methodist Church stood up tall for Biblical morality and rejected “gay” clergy and same-sex “marriage” (http://news.trust.org/item/20190227000549-5u92j).

“The practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching,” ruled the conference–recommending that anyone who couldn’t live with that ought to find another church.

Our profoundly dishonest nooze media tried their best to spin this decision as some kind of hateful aberration engineered by fiendishly clever conference delegates from the Philippines and Africa–because of course enlightened American Methodists love homosexuality and think the Bible really missed a trick by not supporting it. “About half of U.S. Methodists support same-sex marriage,” according to Reuters. In your dreams, sunshine. Even Californians didn’t support it, when they were allowed to vote.

But the nooze media should have paid closer attention to the news. Two weeks ago, a poll taken by the United Methodist Church found 44% of UMC members identifying themselves as “theologically conservative,” versus only 20% calling themselves liberal ( https://www.christianpost.com/news/conservatives-greatly-outnumber-liberals-in-the-united-methodist-church-poll.html). So for all the pissing and moaning over how all the “hate” and “bigotry” is gonna alienate members and drive huge herds of them out of the church–because really, they just can’t live without “gay” clergy–very probably the church honchos themselves read their own poll and knew which way the wind was blowing.

Not that that should’ve mattered. Right is right and wrong is wrong no matter what anybody’s poll numbers say.

And this time the UMC was right.

Covington Kids Sue Media

Good news!

The Covington Catholic High School kids who were smeared by Far Left nooze media are suing The Washington Post for a whopping $250 million, with more lawsuits to come (https://www.theblaze.com/news/breaking-family-of-covington-teen-nails-washington-post-with-a-massive-lawsuit?utm_content=buffer2261c&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=theblaze). The suit says the Washington Post “ignored basic journalistic standards.” Ya think?

The students, peaceably waiting for their bus after taking part in a massive pro-life demonstration in Washington, D.C., were first heckled and taunted with racist insults by some doofuses calling themselves “Black Hebrew Israelites,” and then accosted by a “Native American activist” who marched up and banged his stupid drum in their faces. For this the media rushed to label them racists-biggits-haters picking on a poor old Cherished Minority man.

On WOR radio this morning Mark Simone pointed out that the full 30-minute video of the incident, which clearly showed that the students were the ones under unprovoked attack, had always been available on Youtube for everyone to see–but our free and independent press either didn’t bother to watch it or else just ignored everything that didn’t fit their “narrative” [English translation: “bulls*** fake news].

It’s about time! As long as our nooze media recklessly ignores the truth in its rush to turn America into a socialist hell-hole, they need to be held accountable for stirring up racial and cultural animosity.

Sue their freakin’ pants off!

In the wake of yet another ballyhooed “hate crime” revealed as a hoax–instantaneously embraced by every prominent Democrat, celebrity, and nooze media dullard–a writer for PJmedia.com asks what has to be the easiest question in the world to answer:

Uh, it’s because they want these stupid stories to be true!

They have this “narrative”–euphemism for “stupid mythology that only a real jerk would believe in”–that says America is this hateful, violent, racist, homophobic, sexist, no-good stinkin’ place that perversely refuses to allow itself to be ruled and managed and dictated to by liberals. So naturally us Americans attack Persons Of Color and Proud LGBTQ Persons every chance we get. We usually wear our MAGA hats, too, when we do it.

So some drip of a TV celebrity manufactures a “hate crime” and every lib shouts their outrage from the housetops–and it turns out not to be true.

Mark Steyn once said, commenting on yet another phony hate crime, “Now they’re mad at us for not hating them enough!” Bullseye, brother.

But the fake nooze media want those stories to be true, so whenever they catch the scent of one, they run with it. And when the lie trips them up, they immediately start hunting for another.

Not really Napoleon: just another Democrat candidate for Emperor

As I waited for the comment contest winner to emerge, a brief visit to Free Republic gave me another pair of breaking news stories.

The Washington Post and CNN are upset that President Trump has installed a $50,000 golf simulation room in the White House. Buried in the depths of the story is the fact that Mr. Trump paid for it with his own money. Guess who would have paid for a golf simulator for President *Batteries Not Included. You can find that person in the mirror.

And you may have heard that Amazon was going to open up a great new corporate headquarters in New York City, complete with jobs galore–but no. As of today, Amazon is pulling out due to what they’re calling “a backlash” among NYC leftids. With bartender-turned-Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez leading the charge, they scared Amazon off with a lot of intemperate speech about “exploiting the Workers” and making too much money. New Yorkers didn’t need those jobs after all, did they? They must be happy to know the Green New Deal crowd is protecting them from working.

Maybe they can get jobs counting genders.

Stupor Bowl Ad Urges America to Respect the Nooze Media

If you had nothing better to do yesterday than to watch the Stupor Bowl–really: no sock drawers to sort out? no paint to watch drying?–you probably saw a commercial by the Washington Post citing a number of journalistic martyrs who died or disappeared in the line of duty (http://www.therepublic.com/2019/02/03/us-super-bowl-super-bowl-ads-the-latest/). Narrated by left-wing actor Tom Hanks, who used to be funny, way back when, the ad concludes with the WaPo motto, “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”

Gimme a break.

Didn’t we just see CNN list a disgraced Democrat governor as a Republican? Didn’t the nooze media just report that President Trump ordered his lawyer to lie to investigators–a whopper big enough to move witch-hunter Robert Mueller to declare the story “not accurate”? Didn’t they just try to put over a fictitious “FBI report” that Donald Trump is working as a Russian agent? And then there was that malarkey they spouted about the kids from Covington Catholic High School being racists-biggits-haters.

But we could list nooze media lies all day long and not run out of them.

In fact, WaPo, “democracy” dies when it submerges itself in lies, hysteria, panic, and aggressive ignorance–as ancient historians like Polybius, Plutarch, and Thucydides, and our own country’s founders, knew very well: which is why they took such care to give us not a “democracy,” but a republic.

For our totally unreliable, Democrat Party shill nooze media to try to win us over by trotting out a roll call of murdered journalists is every bit as revolting as some sleazy televangelists likening themselves to the early Christian martyrs.

I wonder how many dozens of viewers fell for this last night.

 

A Time to Stand Firm

In one of the most spectacular displays of fake news yet, big-time nooze media jumped all over a bunch of high school kids for allegedly “taunting” adult “activists,” as the boys waited for their bus home from the weekend’s March for Life (https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/columnists/kass/ct-met-covington-catholic-dc-video-kass-20190122-story.html).

See, a couple of the kids had MAGA hats, so that meant they are White Supremacists so they have to be confronted by “activists” and called names and threatened… so then the nooze media can whip up some video showing the “activists as victims,” and so on.

What really happened? A group of “Black Israelites”–can anybody tell me why any black people would be fanatically devoted to abortion?–started yelling at the kids and calling them names, and then an old fraud of a “Native American activist” ran up and started banging his stupid drum in one kid’s face–and ooh, forsooth! they “bullied” him, too, and him a poor old war hero–and it all goes to prove that these kids have “White Privilege” or something.

Why did I call Big Chief BS a fraud? He’s a professional protester. He goes around the country protesting everything. No visible means of support. Oh– and what, pray tell, is the connection between “Native American activism” and abortion? What a load of pure crapola.

It has now been proved beyond a doubt that the whole incident was concocted, spun, and blown up by the Far Left Crazy and their owners in the nooze media. Even more shameful was the alacrity with which assorted pseudoconservatives who actually conserve nothing hopped on the “Native American activist” phoney’s bandwagon.

And then there was the “CNN personality,” who has no personality, who said, speaking of one of the boys who’d worn a MAGA hat, “Have you ever seen a more punchable face than this kid’s?” I nominate yours, doofus.

They had to close the kids’ school, Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky, and open it again yesterday–with “a heavy police presence” because of all the threats of violence by the Loving Left. As has become the custom among “progressives,” the children’s families were “doxed”–that is, their identities and home addresses revealed, so as to invite vandals or assassins.

Attention, Covington Catholic High School–this is a teachable moment: not just for you, but for all the decent normal people in America. Learn this, and learn it well.

The ungodly are out there in force, desperate to seize control of our country. They hate us, they hate our God, they hate our morality, they hate our way of life. And they lie: the truth is not in them. They are out there seeking to conquer us, to subjugate us–and they must be defeated. There more of us than there are of them, many times more, and we must dedicate ourselves to defeating them. For good. Because the only alternative they’ve left us is to be ruled by them–and we’re not having it.

A New Low for the Nooze Media

I’m ashamed that I used to be a newspaper reporter and editor. Even though it was a long time ago, long before the nooze media morphed into hatchet-men for the Democrat Party.

Today they’re trying to convince us that President Donald Trump “worked for Russia” (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-russia/trump-i-never-worked-for-russia-idUSKCN1P81NM?feedType=RSS&feedName=politicsNews)–never mind that Hillary Clinton, as secretary of state, sold 20% of our nation’s uranium to the Russians. The nooze media’s all over this fable, and when they asked the president this stupid and insulting question at a press conference, he lost his cool and denied it. So now they can “report” that “Trump denies working for the Russians.”

Ooh-ooh! Now we can impeach him! Now we’ve got him!

Even for them, this is shameful.

I apologize for ever having been a journalist. It has become a truly disgraceful line of work. The newly-coined term, “presstitute,” is right on target. I would be less ashamed of having been a pickpocket.

How much more of this does our country have to take?

Flashback: ‘Nightline’ Tackles Evolution vs. Intelligent Design

I reviewed this Nightline episode back in 2005.

Do you remember this case? The local school board in Dover, Pennsylvania, expressed some skepticism of Evolution: so in roared the ACLU, guns ablaze, threatening to destroy the school district with lawsuits unless the board recanted and confessed Evolution to be the one and only truth. That’s how settled science stays settled.

Thing is, even with all these strong-arm tactics, even with them owning the culture, the Evolution side still can’t seal the deal. They just can’t get a majority of the people to believe in it.

Maybe it’s kind of hard to believe in a “scientific” doctrine that can only be kept alive with threats of force. Somehow “believe in this or we’ll destroy your school district” just doesn’t sound all that persuasive.

And maybe it’s awfully hard to understand why any expression of disbelief in Evolution calls down such a violent response. Why should they care so much? There’s something rather crazy about the whole business. Why do they feel so threatened if some tax preparer in Dover, Pennsylvania, isn’t buying into Darwinism?

Someone at Nightline should’ve asked those questions.

Pure Crapola from the Nooze Media

So it turns out–according to nooze media motormouth Chuck Todd–that there’s been a vast right-wing conspiracy to discredit our crusading-for-truth nooze media, and we only despise them because Roger Ailes and Fox News tricked us into distrusting the media, and Hillary shoulda been president but we got tricked out of that, too, blah-blah-blah (https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2018/09/its-time-for-the-press-to-stop-complainingand-to-start-fighting-back/569224/).

Anyhow, blabs Todd, it’s time for the media to “fight back” against “the campaign to destroy the legitimacy of the American news media,” because the “hatred was artificially stoked” (we’re supposed to love them!) by “exploiting the fears of older white people” who are just too ignorant and deplorable to reward the noozies with their due degree of veneration, etc. There’s a limit to how much of this bilge I can read on a hot day. Note they never miss a chance to play the race card.

Anyone who portrays Hillary Clinton as honest doesn’t deserve to be listened to. Not for a minute.

They still cling bitterly, as former President *Batteries Not Included would say, to their core belief that the natural default position of any sane human being is Far Left crazy, and that’s where we’d all be if it weren’t for Fox News and Lex Luthor or some other super-villain tricking us into being conservatives.

Guys, we only loath you because you’re loathsome.

May we live to see them all go out of business.

Leftids Freak Out over Melania’s Christmas Decorations

I heard radio host Mark Simone praising the loveliness of Melania Trump’s White House Christmas decorations; but the next thing I heard on the subject was leftid nooze media idiots having a kazoo over them (https://pjmedia.com/lifestyle/anti-trump-media-white-house-christmas-decor-spooky-like-scene-shining/). They called her decorations spooky, creepy, like a scene from The Shining, and so on.

Didn’t hear ’em complaining years ago when then-worst lady Hillary Clinton hung hypodermic needles and condoms from the White House Christmas tree.

Some of these buzzards likened Melania to the White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia, as if they’d ever read it. Sheesh. These people root for the White Witch!

I’ll try to find a picture of the decorations; but if I can’t, you can click the news link above–Wordpress fixed it–and get a gander. It’s a little over-the-top for my taste, but who cares?

Do they think they’re fooling us? They’re the ones who are always trying to get Christmas erased altogether–the “Happy Holiday”, cancel-the-Christmas-concert crowd.

Well, that’s the Left for you. Anything good, anything decent, anything sane–they hate it.
