Why do libs and other Democrats always want felons to be sprung from jail?

Obviously to make room there for the rest of us.

In New York City now, they’ve made it a serious crime to fail to use some transgender kook’s “preferred pronoun” ( http://www.dcclothesline.com/2016/05/19/new-york-city-to-fine-businesses-that-dont-use-correct-gender-pronouns/ ). At first this prohibition applied only to city employees. Now it has been widened to include “employees, landlords, and businesses.” I think you can soon expect to see it expanded to include family members, neighbors, or just people passing on the street.

Laws used to be about what you couldn’t do. With leftids in charge, laws are increasingly about things we must do, must say, must believe. Like Obamacare: you must buy medical insurance. Or you must be actively involved in a homosexual pseudo-wedding if they demand it of you.

Now the New York City Commission on Human Rights–hint: if your town or city has one of these, then your town or city has more money than is good for it–is on the lookout for “intentional or repeated refusal to use an individual’s preferred name, pronoun, or title.”

Does that mean I can force people to address me as “your majesty,” if that’s the title I prefer? If not, why not?

The commission suggests that, to avoid trouble, employees at any business should ask a person “What is your preferred pronoun?” the moment he, she, or it comes into the shop. Business owners are instructed to fire employees who won’t comply. If you don’t conform to leftids’ vision of “diversity,” you must not be allowed to earn a livelihood.

So, great, now the libs have put a brand-new crime on the books–in addition to other just-invented crimes like microaggression, humanizing the fetus, and the biggest boogie-man of them all, Climate Change Denial.

This is what happens when a great city winds up being governed by a nitwit who used to be a Sandinista groupie. This clown won’t even use his real name, which is Warren Wilhelm Jr.–not “Bill DeBlasio.”

Clearly God is angry with us, to allow such leaders as this to rule over us.

Chicago Schools: ‘Affirm’ Wacko Trannies, or Else

So tell me again–you send your children to public school because______?

The mucky-mucks at the Chicago public schools have just made a decree ordering all students to address all transgender loons by “their preferred name and pronouns” and to “affirm [that person’s] new identity”–or else face consequences that could include being charged with a federal offense ( http://dailycaller.com/2016/05/12/chicago-students-now-required-to-adopt-transgender-newspeak/ ).

Wow, that’s pretty serious. Ten-year-old Johnny gets sent down for twenty years for “intentionally and persistently using the wrong pronouns.” You even have to call these lost souls “ze” instead of he or she, if that’s what they demand of you.

What–you think it’ll never happen in your local school district?

Oh, it will. And sooner than you think.

By the way: as near as anyone can tell, “transgender persons” constitute about three tenths of 1 percent of the population. Of that three tenths of a percent, what fraction of them is “transgender youth,” of school age? And of those, what fraction of that fraction is “real” transgender and what fraction is kids whose wacko parents taught them that they are transgender?

In other words, for the sake of what fraction of a fraction of the population, what microscopic splinter group, are we proposing to turn our whole country upside-down?

But it’s not for them. This handful of poor lost souls are only pawns in the game.

Feds Ease Up on Order to Schools to Go Transgender

Oops! They went a tiny bit too far, too fast, and now the Obama administration has to throttle back on its “order” to public schools in America to let boys into the girls’ bathrooms or else: so instead of an order, now it’s just a “letter of guidance” from the Justice Dept.–what???–and the Dept. of Education ( http://abcnews.go.com/US/obama-administration-public-schools-transgender-students-access-bathrooms/story?id=39081956 ).

Remember when the Justice Dept. used to go after guys like Al Capone? Now they go after people who are a bit slow to hop aboard the transgender express.

The “letter of guidance” admonishes schools to allow any kid to use any bathroom according to his, her, or its “gender identification,” which is to be whatever the student says it is on any given day. It comes with a veiled threat to cut off federal funds to any school district that won’t let the boys stand over the girls while they pee.

Excuse me? Did I just hear you say you weren’t going to vote for Donald Trump, or you just won’t vote at all, and you don’t care if Hillary Clinton is elected president?

Remember what not voting for Romney (warts and all) got you.

Cultural Disasters: What’s Next?

Before I tell you what I think is going to be next, I have to squeeze in a bike ride before it rains.

This transgender stuff, pursued with such an intensity as cannot be easily explained, is bound to burn itself out pretty soon–to be followed by a new exercise in cultural destruction that’s bound to be even loonier and even more fanatically pushed than transgender.

The question is, what’s it going to be? What will be the next perversion that our rulers and thinkers try to push down our throats?

Will it be… pedophilia? Incest?

First it’ll come out of the universities, then the media will take up the cry, and then the Democrat Party, and then everybody who’s anybody–big banks, big corporations, sports leagues, state governments, rock stars and other schmendricks–will be out there leaning on and bullyragging the few of us who hold out against it.

You’ve got some time, folks–let me hear your guesses. What’s going to be next, after transgender?

A Good Question!

Townhall columnist Frank Turek today asked a damned good question: “Can Bruce Springsteen Refuse to Play at a Gay Wedding?” ( http://townhall.com/columnists/frankturek/2016/04/22/can-bruce-springsteen-refuse-to-play-a-gay-wedding-n2152212 )

Springsteen, whom I’ve always thought of as an ass, has cancelled a concert in North Carolina to show his support for “transgender freedom fighters”–now you see why I consider him an ass–and their “right” to use the opposite sex’s bathrooms.

In other words, Springsteen is refusing to provide his services to the state of North Carolina because he has a moral objection to North Carolina’s behavior.

So how come, then, a Christian photographer has to provide her services to a homosexual parody of a wedding, or else have her livelihood destroyed by the state? Would anyone dream of forcing Springsteen to play in North Carolina, or else? What’s the difference? Why can he withhold service, but a Christian can’t?

Ooh, ooh, I know!

It’s because only minorities have rights–right? And the smaller the minority, the bigger its rights!

You can always discriminate against ordinary people! The despised majority, who pay the country’s bills and create its wealth. Feel like going Christian-hunting? Well, well, it’s open season on the Christians, every day!

See, they can’t Impose Their Ideas on anyone. Especially on a minority.

But any minority–atheists, transgenders, homosexuals, you name it–can always impose its ideas upon the whole society.

That’s why Springsteen, an ass, can do what no Christian photographer, baker, or caterer can do–and not only do it, but be hailed as a hero and a sage and an all-around swell guy for his support of the transgender movement. The fact that his action will be applauded by every fat-head in America, and criticized by virtually no one, I’m sure never crossed his mind.

Trump Has Lost My Vote

A reader tipped me off yesterday that Donald Trump said “transgender people” should have the right–the right? Is that a proper use of the word?– to use any bathroom they please. I checked it out, it’s true, and I can no longer support this candidate. I guess that leaves only Ted Cruz.

Sorry, but this is a hill to die on. It’s as if the whole ruling class of the Western world woke up one morning and cried out, while still in bed, “Transgender! We’ve gotta have transgender! And we’ve gotta have it now, now, now!”

It has to stop. It has to be stopped. Just this week, Target Stores announced that their bathrooms would be “gender-neutral” from now on. That means men intruding on little girls. And baseball great Curt Schilling was fired by ESPN for tweeting–didn’t even say it on the air, mind you–that men don’t belong in women’s bathrooms.

It has to be stopped, stopped and rolled back. If not, something even worse–more insane, more perverted–will soon arise to follow it. I do not want to see what that will be.

May God remember that these things are done without our consent, against our will, and over our objections.

P.S.–Meanwhile, police have been busting male perverts who go into women’s bathrooms to take pictures: in this case, of a 10-year-old girl using the toilet ( http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/04/21/pa-man-accused-peeping-restroom-hit-child-porn-charges/ ).

Tots Asked to ‘Choose Their Gender’

And today’s first disgusting news story, illustrating complete culture collapse, comes to us from Merrie England, where the Brighton and Hove City Council has written to thousands of parents urging them to “support your child to choose the gender they most identify with” ( http://home.bt.com/news/uk-news/four-year-olds-asked-to-choose-gender-on-primary-school-form-11364052985017 ).

Some of these kids are only four years old.

Why is the council doing this? Well, in their own words, it’s because “increasing numbers of children and young people are identifying as trans.”

Gee, I wonder why that’s happening–if indeed it really is happening, and it’s not just a few psychotic left-wingers saying so. Could it possibly have anything at all, even the teensiest little bit, to do with the whole Western world’s ruling class pushing this transgender folly as if their very lives depended on it?

O Lord our God, remember that these things are done without our consent, against our will, and over our objections!

Before we blame everything on politics, let’s consider America’s mainline, flatline, liberal, limpin’ lump o’ brickdust churches.

Calvary Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., ordained a man as a woman because he says he’s a woman, dresses in women’s clothing, and evangelizes for homosexuality ( http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/transgender-baptist-preacher-says-angel-of-reason-prompted-sex-switch/ ).

This lost soul, whose every chromosome is still as male as it was from the moment of his conception, recently told a gathering of jidrools that some “Angel of Reason” told him the Bible was wrong, all wrong, in all its teachings on sexual morality.

Y’know what else he said? Here, let me quote him. This is priceless, and it tells us everything we need to know about his theology and that of the churches who “welcome” and “affirm” him.

“My hymnal has a lot less Isaac Watts and Fanny Crosby, but it’s full of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Tupac, and Beyonce.”

There is nothing I can add to that.

Wells Fargo and ‘Transgender Pride’

So now we’ve got a transgender flag. Isn’t that freakin’ wonderful?

There’s almost nothing that can be said about this story: Wells Fargo lights up its big office building in Charlotte, NC, in support of “transgender pride,” with the colors of some “transgender flag” ( http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/transgender-flag-Wells-Fargo-North-Carolina-7227279.php ).

A Christian friend of mine advises me to ignore stuff like this. “It’s not the Christian’s job to stop the tidal wave,” he said. “Just tell people there’s a way they can get out of it.”

That may be. But my heart is lacerated with shame for my country, and burdened with a fear of God’s wrath.
