Another Global Warming Prophecy Bites the Dust

(Thanks to “Unknowable” for the news tip)

James Hansen, a former director of NASA–a former space agency until Obama got his hands on it: now they just blather–is on record calling for jail terms for those who don’t believe in Global Warming/Climbit Change.

This year is the ten-year anniversary of his famous prediction that by the summer of 2018, there would be no more sea ice in the Arctic (https://www.naturalnews.com/2018-04-07-top-nasa-scientist-claimed-all-ice-will-vanish-from-the-arctic-by-this-summer.html). “This is our last chance!” was his dark saying.

Maybe the Arctic should be jailed for Climbit Change Denial: its sea ice cover has increased by 40% since 2012. If only Loretta Lynch were still our attorney general! She could sue the Arctic Circle. Maybe sue everyone who sees ice up there.

When the history of this shameful era is written, let it be noted that the serious movement to abolish free speech, and the free use of the human mind, started with the so-called Scientists who were pushing Global Warming.

Is There a Life Coach in the House?

Image result for images of silly life coach

We don’t have a donkey, but it’s not so hard to find an ass.

Today on my computer screen, heaven knows where it came from, was some kind of ad exhorting me to consult a Life Coach to get “attuned to your higher self.” Hey, how many selves have I got?

This is one of those shameful post-Christian things that people get into because they need a substitute for the true religion, Christianity. Oops! Looks like I’ve committed a microaggression there–speaking of my religion as if I believed it to be true. When everyone who’s hip and enlightened knows you’re not supposed to believe the things you believe in. A Life Coach could probably straighten you out.

Whole civilizations have arisen, flourished, and done great things without benefit of even a single Life Coach. I suspect the last twenty years or so contain all the Life Coaches that have ever been. And what we’ve got to show for that, I wouldn’t show to a dog.

‘Transgender Preacher’ (2016)

See the source image

This item is still just as appalling as it was two years ago. But at least the comments include a hymn request from Laura which I’ll treat as if it just came in this morning.

Take particular note of what this horse’s ass was saying. Let us pray that somewhere in this country there are churches where he’d be booed off the pulpit and physically thrown out of the building.

Feminist Theology Babble, Pure Babble

See the source image

Ben Shapiro thinks he has discovered “the single most illiterate piece ever written on the Biblical story of Adam and Eve,” (https://www.dailywire.com/news/26947/female-rabbi-publishes-single-stupidest-piece-ben-shapiro) and we must admit it would be hard to beat. “Its central thesis is that God somehow sexually harassed Eve, and that Eve is ‘the first case of #MeToo’.”

Quick, the barf bag!

How could there be any “too” when she was the first and only woman in the world?

This pure crapola has been written by some “female rabbi” who is soon to have a book out on “Walking the Way of the Divine Feminine.” As Shapiro himself admits, “Words fail.”

It’s hard enough to imagine this person as any kind of rabbi, but equally hard to imagine her congregation. She calls God “this man-made figurehead of the patriarchy  [editor’s note: Oh, do please shut up!]…He is a fiction.” Really, what kind of congregation would sit through bilge like that? Had they nothing to throw at her?

She concludes, “Eve, our blessed mother, is saying ‘#MeToo’,” hashtag and all. With the hashtag, no less. Do any of you wonder why I say “#MeToo” is going to burn itself out?

Ben, Ben, faithful Orthodox Jewish brother, we feel your pain. We Christians are lumbered with the same profoundly grotesque feminist theology as are some hopefully small corners of Judaism. See my series of articles about paganism and goddess worship in the churches.

Blasphemy is a sin, and a serious sin at that. Being conformed to the inane and fleeting fashions of this world comes at a price: and there’s gonna be some howling and gnashing of teeth when it’s time to pay.

Corrupting the Bible: Galatians 3:28

See the source image

Liberal Christians–an oxymoron, in my view, on a par with land-dwelling trout–always seek this world’s approval and always sacrifice the integrity of God’s Word to get it.

Here’s something I wasn’t aware of until I found it mentioned today in the latest issue of Biblical Archaeology Review. “Contemporary interpreters” have been adding their own words to the Holy Scriptures–to make God’s Word conform to the world and lose its power to transform the world.

Galatians 3:28 says, “In Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, neither slave nor free, nor male and female.” All are one in Christ: all are equal before the cross.

But “contemporary interpreters,” including “some Christians who support gender neutrality and transgenderism”–what kind of “Christians” are those–have been adding to that verse. In particular, they like to add the words, “neither gay nor straight.” (https://www.christianpost.com/news/lgbt-activists-misusing-bible-verse-galatians-328-neither-male-nor-female-says-ses-prof-nora-hale-170864/)

In doing so, they try to make the Word of God bear false witness against the speaker, God Himself. The Bible condemns homosexual practice in no uncertain terms. It is a sin. Period. It is as if they were to insist that God would bless idolatry.

Corrupting the Scripture is surely a worse sin than homosexual acting-out.

The Law, in the Old Testament, requires false prophets to be put to death.

But we give them power and prestige.

O Lord! Remember that these things are done without our consent, against our will, and over our objections. In Jesus’ name, amen.

‘Christian Mommy’ Goes Evil

Image result for images of poison

Where do you even begin with a story like this?

We start with a “Christian mommy blogger” who becomes the idol and oracle of millions, writes a New York Times best-seller, makes boxcar-loads of money–and then “marries” another woman ( http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/culture/sarah-stites/2017/05/16/christian-mommy-blogger-marries-female-soccer-star-media-avoid … sorry, it’s one of those stupid links that’s impossible to copy because it’s too long: if you want to read the original story, go to Newsbusters).

This woman dumped her husband. She has three children. So what? They might as well be three goldfish, for all the serious thought they get. I hope I would take care of a goldfish better than this Christian mommy is taking care of her children.

And in the spirit of stomping all over the Third Commandment (“Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain”), this Christian mommy takes refuge in tired old flatline Protestant cliches.

Jesus never gave a sermon denouncing homosexuality; therefor homosexuality is perfectly okay. (He never denounced abortion, either. Guess that’s okay, too.)

Oh! And we can’t possibly proceed without the slogan, “LOVE WINS!” Yeah. Any ol’ kinda “love.” Doesn’t matter what kind.

O Lord Our God, when you judge our nation, remember, we pray, that these things are done without our consent, against our will, and over our objections. In Jesus’ name, amen.

A Message from Ezekiel

It takes a particularly dense clod of clay between the ears, to read the prophets in the Bible and not think that God, through them, speaks to us today.

Take, for instance, Chapter 13 of Ezekiel. “Thus saith the Lord God, Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?” [Ezekiel 13:18]

We can’t be sure exactly what Ezekiel was talking about, because he was describing something that would have been well-known to his audience, the people of Jerusalem, circa 600 B.C. Pillows? Kerchiefs? But it’s obvious that he’s referring to superstitious practices that were the equivalent of a lot of our own New Age mumbo-jumbo. He could just as well be writing about crystals, animal spirit guides, and ouija boards.

And the Lord goes on to say that He will tear away the kerchiefs and the pillows, and punish the false prophetesses who sell them to a foolish and credulous public, “Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life…” [v.22]

I don’t know about you, but that sounds awfully familiar to me. Lies that demoralize the good? Yeah, I think we might run across a few hundred dozen of those every day, issued authoritatively by our glorious leaders, the nooze media, the UN, and the rest of the usual suspects. Lies that convince the wicked that they’re doing just fine, no need to change, just keep on goin’ as they’re goin’? Gee, I guess if I really put my mind to it, I can probably think of a few behaviors that were sins for thousands and thousands of years, but of course aren’t anymore because our leaders and Hollywood and our hip, seeker-friendly churchmen say so.

Meanwhile, false prophets and charlatans promise us salvation, which usually we can achieve by forking over money to them for some sure-fire magic gizmo or self-help scheme. Pillows and kerchiefs. The narrative: lies told in a good cause, like to Save the Planet.

We really are in trouble.
