You can’t make this stuff up–and why would you want to?

Democrats from all around the country will soon be meeting in a “retreat” in West Virginia to discuss “how to talk to regular Americans” ( http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/01/25/democrats-teaching-how-to-talk-to-real-americans/ )–sort of like cats getting together to discuss how to talk to mice.

“Yeah, yeah–we’re gonna get our mojo back! Our only problem, last time out, was that we didn’t know the right sales pitch. All we have to do is figure out how to get people who are not mentally ill to realize that they really want what our party has to offer. Open borders! Lots and lots of Muslims brought in without checking to see if they might be in a jihad frame of mind! Transgender bathrooms! Lots more public funding for abortion! Globalism out the wazoo! Ten thousand new regulations a day, to stop Climate Change! High taxes like you never dreamed were possible! Obamacare!

“We know you peasants really want that stuff! It’s just that you don’t know you want it! So we’re gonna work out how to make you see the light!”

The gulf, the abyss, that separates Democrats from regular Americans can only be bridged by sheer fantasy. But that’s all right: Democrats have that in abundance.

Bearing in mind Infowars’ occasional penchant for getting a tad more worked up than the situation warrants, it still piques our interest to read that certain American millionaires, including a lot of Silicon Valley panjandrums, are fleeing to New Zealand for fear of a “crackup of civilization” and impending civil war at home. Since the day after Election Day, 2016, over 13,000 wealthy Americans have registered with New Zealand immigration authorities. Some New Zealanders are not happy about that, but hey, it could be worse–we could be sending them celebrities.

So… America’s ruling class prepares to flee the consequences of its ham-fisted mishandling of the country’s business for the past eight years, and then some. Think the folks in New Zealand will want to give them a crack at running their country for them?

Doubtless the Far Left would love a civil war, if it meant a lot of people would get killed, the American republic would collapse, and they’d come out on top. They would like it even more if they got their poor schnook followers to fight it for them, with themselves coming out of hiding only after all the shooting stopped.

But I think most of the privately-owned firearms in America belong to persons not inclined to rally round Michael Moore, Madonna, and the Clintons. And bearing that in mind, there will be no civil war–just a lot of messiness for our new president and his team to clean up.

Libs are gonna be surprised by how easily America can do without them.

It’s ‘Black Lives Matter Week’ in Philly Schools

Public education strikes again!

A group calling itself the “Caucus of Working Educators”–that sounds so much grander than “bunch of classroom teachers”–has announced its plan to devote a week of the curriculum to “Black Lives Matter,” the radical racialist, anti-police group ( http://www.philly.com/philly/education/20170122_Phila__teachers_plan_Black_Lives_Matter_week_-_not_all_are_happy.html ).

Not all the teachers are happy about this. It has to be pretty far out, to make unionized teachers uneasy. But the Caucus is pushing “Six Days of Action”–that sounds pretty grand, too; but wait for the punchline–highlighted by giving the kiddies a little item entitled “The Revolution is Always Now.”

“The Revolution is Always Now” is… “coloring pages.” Shazzam! A coloring book! Your school tax dollars at work!

Some “transgender affirming” will also be thrown in. For laughs, maybe?

One teacher said he wasn’t exactly thrilled with teaching the kiddies that “Western society makes war on black people.”

Just one question. You continue to send your kids to these schools because…?

My Books Are Being Trolled

From time to time I like to check amazon.com to see how my books are doing.

I got a nasty surprise last night, and again this morning, when I discovered one-star ratings among my customer reviews: Bell Mountain first, and now The Cellar Beneath the Cellar. I would rather not give the name of the malicious little nit that posted them.

See if you can follow his logic. Lee Duigon is “a follower” of R. J. Rushdoony. [I am employed, and my books are published, by The Chalcedon Foundation, the ministry founded by Rushdoony. I am not aware of being “a follower” of anyone.] Rushdoony was “a religious huckster” [no, he wasn’t] and “a christofascist,” whatever that is. Therefore, “persons of good character” will avoid my books.

Having read thousands of pages of Rushdoony’s published works, I can truly say this person is talking through his hat. But because Rushdoony was a faithful man of God, libs and other louses have always attacked him viciously.

Thing is, I have few reviews, not many readers know that I exist: so a single one-star rating easily drives down a book’s overall rating. By the time this insect gets around to trolling the later books in my series, it will look like half the readers hated them.

That “christofascist” tag is genuinely offensive. In all probability, the reviewer is some left-wing loon from the Southern Poverty Loon Center, or someplace like that, who thinks everybody to the right of where he is, out on the far-left fringe of the galaxy, is a fascist, a knotsy, and a biggit who should be beaten senseless, etc. That’s the Loving Left all over.

All right, well, I’ve taken one for the team. An inner voice keeps whispering, “It’s about time they’ve come after you! I was beginning to think you were doing something wrong.”

But my books are my babies, and when somebody maliciously attacks them, I do admit I find it hard to laugh it off. It’s a lesson I’d better learn, I guess. I don’t want God to be ashamed of me for yelping about a bug-bite.

Be Not Affrighted

I’ve encountered some uneasiness today about the big “women’s marches” in Washington D.C. and elsewhere ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4142950/Thousands-women-head-Washington-protest-Trump.html ). They did have large turnouts, evidence that these events were planned and organized well in advance–and probably paid for, too. And some of us saw this sea of angry feminists and understandably were shaken by it.

Well, don’t be.

For one thing, more than anything else, this was a march for abortion. That’s not a cause that’s going to win over anyone but other feminists, nor appeal to anyone but them and already-ironbound liberals.

Look, if ugliness, meanness, and threats could win the day, there’s no way Democrats lose the election. But they did lose, in spite of all the dirty tricks they pulled, in spite of all the threats, the rent-a-mobs, and the spectacular amount of money that they spent. They had all the nooze media behind them, too, and all the academic establishment.

And they lost.

This is our historic opportunity to crush and bury liberalism in this country. We do not have to turn into 50 Californias. The American people won the election in spite of everything the Left could do: and now we have to build on it.

I don’t care how many feminists they can put on the street, and neither should you.

Ohio State Offers Inauguration Day ‘Safe Space’ for Idiots

This is a reminder that it’s not enough just to win elections. Leftism must be rooted out of every dark corner where it festers–including our overgrown, overpriced, underachieving universities.

Ohio State has offered “safe space” for Inauguration Day, where whimpering students can hang out together and pretend the 2016 election of Donald Trump as president never happened. They will feature “teach-ins”–oh, please–and poetry readings ( http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/30828/ ). And the students will be “taught”–I’m no longer sure that “teaching” is quite the right word for what goes on in college–how to “define social justice,” blah-blah-blah. I guess “justice” is when Democrats win elections and are free to subject America to open borders, high taxes, abortion, transgender bathrooms for little girls and grown men, and all the rest of that social justice stuff.

The universities must be starved into extinction. Cut off the funding! They have way, way, way too much of our money, and they only know how to make mischief with it. Cut this beast down to size! With just a little courage, Republicans in Congress could start cutting back on federal support for the universities. Stop putting our taxes to work at screwing up our country!

And for heaven’s sake, stop sending your sons and daughters there!

Inauguration Day: Fire or Fizzle?

All sorts of threats against our new president, Donald Trump, are pouring out of the Left. As just one example out of many, CNN has recently teased its viewers by reporting that, should some “disaster” kill Trump and Vice President Mike Pence tomorrow, before they can be sworn in, an Obama appointee, some “undersecretary for political affairs,” would then become president ( http://www.infowars.com/cnn-if-trump-is-killed-during-inauguration-obama-appointee-would-be-president/ ).

Again, that’s just one of many threats, too numerous to list here. The Left is frantic over the prospect of losing power, and, unrestrained by anything that we would recognize as morality, they’re making like they’ll do absolutely anything to keep it.

But we’ve seen a lot of this lately. First they were going to disrupt the Republican National Convention. Fizzle. Then there was the Great Recount. Fizzle. Then the flood of threats against the Electoral College. Fizzle. Then some really disgusting “news” about Trump that turned out to be a hoax. Fizzle. So, if past history is anything to go by, the mayhem and chaos threatened for Inauguration Day will turn out to be the final fizzle. I pray I’m right about this.

This succession of threats is in itself symptomatic of a deep spiritual sickness in our country. And although the Lord blessed us in sparing us a Hillary Clinton presidency, it’ll take more than winning an election to cure us.

Let us pray.

O Lord Our God, move us as a nation to repent our sins, to humble ourselves, and to turn back to you, so that you can heal us–as you have said, in the Bible, that you will. Turn us so that we know our sin and turn away from it, turn us back to sanity, turn us back to you, O God: and we shall be saved. We are in very deep trouble, Lord, and only you can pull us out of it. In Jesus’ name, amen.

College Idiot Factories Wage Jihad against ‘Toxic Masculinity’

Okay, leftids, you’ve convinced me: you really are the servants of Satan. What you say and do can be explained in no other way.

Ithaca, Duke, Oregon State, Brown, Amherst, University of Massachusetts–these are just some of the “universities” this week who will be holding workshops and B.S. sessions on “toxic masculinity” ( https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=8645 ).

At Brown the workshops will be “for students who identify as men.” At Oregon State, students will “engage in collective imagining.” There is a slang term for the latter which I am not permitted to use on this blog. Ithaca is gunning for “hegemonic masculinity.” I could go on, but I seem to have run out of barf bags.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: People who love and respect their sons and daughters do not send them to these colleges to be turned into brainless wastes of space. To which I am moved to add: People who love and respect their country do not send their sons and daughters to these colleges to be turned into brainless wastes of space.

We see by all this frenzied activity that Satan has a real problem with God’s created order, and has moved his servants to strike at its very foundation: “Male and female created He them.” They want to get rid of the male part.

God will eventually remove this whole business from the picture. It would be a shame to us, if we ever had to look back and saw that we, when we had the opportunity, and the duty, failed to speak and act against it.

O Lord Our God–remember, please remember, that these things are done without our consent, against our will, and over our objections.

What’ll We Do With Millenials?

We have a gigantic social problem looming over our country.

What are we to do with millenials?

Recent college graduates, tens of thousands of them, with their whole lives yet to live–can’t hold jobs, can’t tolerate even the most trivial adversity, saturated with an ideology that is opposed to everything America stands for, unable to relate to people as individuals but only as representatives of this or that group, guaranteed and certified 100% useless–what in the world are we supposed to do with them?

Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy the company of teens and tweens, provided they haven’t been turned upside-down and inside-out by our culture and our schools. I wish I had more of you guys visiting this blog, to pep it up a little.

No, I’m talking about young people with degrees in Gender Studies and Social Justice, burdened by a load of student debt, who go stampeding for the Play-Doh and the Safe Space at the first little hitch in life that comes along, who want a participation trophy just for breathing. You can’t talk to them without triggering a trauma. And if you can imagine them trying to bring up children of their own, you have a more vivid imagination than I do.

So what are we supposed to do with them? They won’t be able to support themselves. Imagine hiring Joe Collidge to do anything more complex than sweep the floor.

I wish I knew the answer to that question.

Lib Church Won’t Pray for Trump by Name (They Think He’s Gonna Kill ‘Em)

Never let it be said our friends on the Left aren’t drama queens. In fact, it’s at the core of their being–oh, they take themselves so seriously! And that goes for liberal mainline/flatline churches, too.

All Saints Church in Pasadena (where else?) has announced that its drama-loving clergy won’t pray for President-elect Donald Trump by name anymore, because just his very name is “literally a trauma trigger” ( http://downtrend.com/71superb/church-bans-trumps-name-because-its-a-trauma-trigger ). In fact, they think Donald Trump wants to kill them: “he represents an active danger to health and safety.”

They’ll still pray for a generic “president,” but not that mean old homophobic Donald Trump. Actually, Trump has not devoted any attention to opposing the march of sodomy–but then he’s also a racist and a biggit, don’t you know.  Everyone the libs don’t like is a racist and a biggit.

Do these liberal churches worship God or man? When they need to pray, do they just look at a mirror?
