Lest We Forget: Climategate

I don’t know for how long this satire will display here, so enjoy it while you can. It’s been around for several years. They keep getting rid of it, but it keeps coming back. Sometimes truth does that.

What with the New York Times fiction publication trying to present President-elect Donald Trump (guess how much I enjoy typing that!) as suddenly betraying his voters and converting to Global Warming Voodoo, two things must be clearly said.

  1. Trump threw Climategate (see video) right back at the alleged journalists.
  2. Everything you’ve ever heard said about Man-Made Climate Change is at best poppycock, and at worst a deliberate lie cooked up by statists who want unlimited powers to interfere in your lives.

Trump Says He’ll Step Down!

Now that he sees how upset liberals are over his election, President-elect Donald Trump says he’ll step down in favor of Hillary Clinton, according to shockingly unreliable sources.

“They’re asking so nicely, he just can’t say no,” says one of our sources. “Really, he had no idea just how honored and beloved the Clinton crime family is among the smartest people in the world.”

In addition to being the caporegime of the nation’s best-loved crime syndicate, “Hillary is also the former president’s wife, and if he’d thought about that just a little harder, Mr. Trump would have stepped down as soon as he won the Republican nomination,” said a sadly inebriated source. “I mean, how could you be so mean as to deny the president’s wife her own chance to run the country?”

“He just can’t disappoint all those actors, celebrities, college professors and students, Black Lives Matter, and globalists,” said another source, currently living in a padded cell. “And he had no idea how passionately the American people–not counting all those deplorables who perversely voted for him, what were they thinking?–want open borders, higher taxes, world government, and anyone who doubts Climate Change to be investigated by the Attorney General. So he’ll step down and give them what they want.”

“And if that’s not enough,” added an even more unreliable source, “Mr. Trump is prepared to convert to Islam–just to please us!”

Wel OK i got a litle Exited and My Moth Antenners thay begun to Ich somthing awffle and evry boddy else Thay was all exited too, and then I finded me “a” jim sock and so i Ate it i was Hungery and i gess thare must of “been” somthing funnny Abuot “It” becose neckst thing i know, I am Very High, and affter that the neckst “thing” i know is, Its Satterday moarning and evry boddy hear at Collidge thay are Sad and aslo very, “very” Anggery and than thay teling “me” that Donold trump he won the Lection and Hillery she lost!!!!! i jist cant beleave it.

A Speech Trump Ought to Make

One of the most important speeches ever given was Nikita Khrushchev’s “secret speech” (“secret” because it wasn’t meant to be published; but of course it was) before the Communist Party Congress of the Soviet Union in 1956, in which he listed and denounced the crimes of his predecessor, Josef Stalin ( https://www.britannica.com/event/Khrushchevs-secret-speech ). He left out some of the dictator’s great crimes against the general population–but the historic effect of the speech was to make it impossible for the USSR ever to go back to pure Stalinism, leading, in the long run, to the liberalization and eventual demise of that evil empire.

I would like President Donald Trump to make a speech like that, listing the crimes and corruption of both the Clintons and various members of the Obama administration. It would be a long speech, but it’s necessary.

With all this talk of who’s going to get a presidential pardon, and who’s not, it’s vital to set the record straight for history–and because truth matters. Whether it’s using the IRS to disable political opponents, or using the Justice Dept. to cover up the corrupt practices of Bill and Hillary Clinton, their henchmen, and the Clinton Foundation, these wicked doings of the government need to be exposed and addressed.

It may not be possible to parade a whole mob of them off to federal prison, but it would surely be a serious error to sweep it all under the rug. If the malefactors can’t be punished, they must at least be identified. If we tolerate this much lawlessness on the part of government officials, we put our republic–and our freedom–in jeopardy.

If we must have the pardons, so be it. But we must have the truth. Our country’s future depends on it.

The Sound of Victory

I love the sound of college students wailing in the morning. It sounds like victory.

In the wake of Donald Trump’s glorious defeat of the Clinton crime family, California college honchos have moved to provide grief counseling for their distraught students ( http://www.sacbee.com/news/local/education/article113811743.html ). UC Davis and Sacramento State were first on board with this, but it’s quickly catching on elsewhere.

Yes, the traumatized students, who have been so skillfully taught to break down under the slightest disappointment, are exhorted to take advantage of their schools’ “urgent care”–urgent care? are these people quite all there?–“mental health services.” I thought urgent meant you were standing on the ledge outside your hotel room window on the 50th floor, getting ready to jump off. That would be urgent.

Boy, is our country messed up. And we have our highly-paid, lavishly-pensioned “educators” to thank for it more than anybody else.

Parents who love, respect, and care for their sons and daughters do not send them to a university. Not these days!

 

Last Call: Stop Hillary

This is the last I mean to write about this presidential election. Please consider these points.

*Are you really okay with the prospect of an out-and-out criminal occupying the highest office in the land? Do you want the legacy of the United States in history to be the slogan, “Crime really does pay, big-time!”

*All the villains in America are lined up solidly for Hillary–big government, big banks, lying nooze media, potty-mouthed celebrities, Black Lives Matter, George Soros, the country club Republicans aka “those weasels in Congress,” illegal aliens, the open borders mob, and even Miley Cyrus. That means they’re lined up against Trump. Does that not sort of tell you something? If they’re all against Trump, shouldn’t you be for him?

*Should the White Witch win the White House, one thing we can be dead sure of is that she will not stop committing crimes. And if you didn’t vote at all, or wasted your vote on a third-party candidate, or even voted for her, you have made yourself an accomplice in her further crimes.

*If Donald Trump still alarms you, please consider this: if he wins, it’ll be all he can do just to stay in office for four years. You’re gonna see checks and balances trotted out against him like you never dreamed existed. I’ll be surprised if they even confirm any of his cabinet picks. And if he tries to use executive orders like President *Batteries Not Included used them, he’ll be impeached.

*Stopping Hillary is now. Whatever we have to do with Donald Trump, that will be later. You have to take care of now before you deal with later.

Asinine headlines to the contrary, I do not believe that Trump is “the only one who can save America.” God is the only one who can save America. But I can’t believe He wants us to just sit around wringing our hands because we don’t have a Righteous Candidate to vote for.

Trust in God, pray continually, and stop Hillary Clinton by the only way that’s lawful for us: vote for Donald Trump.

I Didn’t Write the Blasted Headline!

I’ve gotten into some hot water for my News With Views column this week. Of course I have, because the headline reads “Donald Trump–The Only One Who Can Save America.”

I did not write that headline.

God is the only one who can save America. I know that! I’ve often said so, and in print, for everyone to see.

I’m trying to get that headline changed, but it may be too late. But at least I want everyone who reads this to know that I didn’t write it and I don’t agree with what it says.

I don’t mind if they change the headline I wrote for something with a bit more zing. But I do mind if the new headline gives people a false impression of me.

So if anyone happens to refer to me as “that palooka who wrote that dumb headline about Trump the only one to save America,” please–I didn’t write the b lasted thing, and it does not reflect my opinion in the matter.

Here Comes the Pushback

I make no pretense of interpreting Bible prophecy in terms of today’s current events. I don’t pore over Revelation and try to draw up a prophetic timetable. God will do what He does, when He does it: and most prophecy is only understood after it’s come to pass.

But I think a lifelong study of the art has given me some ability to interpret history, even the ongoing history that we are living through.

I read a provocative column by Michael Barone the other day ( http://townhall.com/columnists/michaelbarone/2016/10/21/despite-trump-demotic-protest-politics-doesnt-always-fail-n2235217 ) in which he discussed sort of the same thing that has happened in two very different countries, Britain and Colombia. In both cases:

*There was a public policy at issue, strongly favored by the nation’s rulers and by voters in the capitol cities;

*Opposition to the issue came from the people in “flyover country” who are always ignored by the bigwigs;

*In both cases, polls predicted that the issue would win, hands-down;

*And in both cases, it lost. Hands-down.

We have something similar going on right here in America. We have policies eagerly pushed by our bosses–open borders, sweetheart trade deals with not  altogether honest trading partners, and whatever can lead to bigger and bigger, more and more powerful government–seconded by the whoopee crowd in Washington and Hollywood… and hated and opposed by the regular people. And the Donald Trump candidacy, like the TEA Party movement before it, is strong evidence that the American people are getting good and fed up with their leadership. And may be just about ready to do something about it.

Throughout the whole world it becomes increasingly obvious that the interests of the leaders and the interests of the people aren’t even in the same area code, and that the leaders, the Davos crowd, have their own agenda which is no way, no how, our agenda.

When the Soviet Union collapsed, the infection of communism spread all throughout the West.

By now, maybe, God has provided us with antibodies.

Let us put our heads down, do our duty, and occupy until He comes. Whenever that may be.

First Things First

Here I am again, writing about that consarned election. It just won’t go away.

I’ve been hearing a lot of despair from various people, including some of us here on this blog: Trump and Hillary are the devil and the deep blue sea, it doesn’t matter which one gets in, they’re both just terrible.

Let us grant, for the sake of discussion, that’s true: Trump really is every bit as bad. I don’t believe that, allegations by the nooze media don’t impress me, but never mind. What matters is that either he or Ol’ Careless will be our next president.

Our friend Weavingword asks how we, the American people, ever reached this point. Well, it took a long time, didn’t it? It took a great deal of hard labor from a great many wicked persons over several generations to push us into this kettle of fish. And the point of that is, it’s going to take a lot more than one election to undo it.

The ultimate goal must be the re-Christianization of America, and the total dis-empowerment of our current secular humanist, fanatically statist ruling class. That can’t be accomplished unless many millions of people in America make some major changes in their hearts and minds. Again, these things can’t be done quickly.

We have to start somewhere. And given that the entire statist ruling class is rock-solid against Trump and for Hillary, the obvious starting-point, for practical purposes, is to keep Hillary out of the White House.

And then, if Trump turns on us, the people who elected him, why, we’ll turn on him. And then who’s he gonna call? Paul Ryan?

Elections are only a small, albeit important, piece of what we’ve got to do. But each election gives us another opportunity to chop away at the power of our perverse ruling class–not just the politicians, but also the noozies, the courts, the schools and colleges, Hollywood, the various sets of “activists”–the whole shootin’ match.

And we must constantly, daily, seek God’s help. And if He wants to intervene before the struggle has gone on for very long, you won’t catch me complaining.

Remember: King Alfred wrote, “For the Lord is our defense, Jesu defend us.” But he did have to come out of the swamps and fight the battles that God gave him.

So It’s Got to be Clinton? Really?

I’m tired of writing about this election, and I really dislike having to write about politics on a Sunday. But the big debate is scheduled for tonight, and I have to get this said beforehand.

I can’t follow the logic of this argument. Can you?

*Once, in an unguarded moment of idle foolishness, ten years ago, Donald Trump made a lewd comment.

Therefore:

We’ve got to have Hillary Clinton for our president.

We’ve got to have open borders.

We’ve got to import another million unvetted Muslim refugees, and turn our country inside-out to make them feel at home.

We’ve got to have higher taxes and more spending.

We’ve got to have the thugs from Black Lives Matter invited to the White House as honored guests.

We’ve got to have “pay to play” conducted right there in the Oval Office.

We’ve got to make “Climate Change Denial” a federal offense.

And so forth and so on.

All of those “got to’s,” and more, are the price we will have to pay for deserting Donald Trump for the sake of a single stupid remark.

A Hillary Clinton presidency is way too high a price to pay for that.
