I had one of these. I wonder what happened to it.

Holmdel High School! I used to cover their football team. But now they’re playing another kind of game.

Like public schools everywhere, Holmdel High serves up a daily heaping plate of Far Left Wokeism and everyone’s expected to kow-tow to it. So when this one 16-year-old didn’t bend the knee to Baal, but rather committed the unconscionable sin of supporting President Donald Trump… they decided he couldn’t be in the National Honor Society.

I was in the National Honor Society. No one ever asked me about my politics. I didn’t care, one way or another, about being in the NHS; but no one asked me about that, either.

Public education is broken and it won’t be fixed. Teachers’ unions, Democrats, and “educators” won’t allow it to be fixed.

So why do you send your children there? (No one ever answers this question.)

Don’t even think about coming back!

Once upon a time a public school “teacher” who copped this attitude would have been chased out of town–and she’d better not come back, not even in disguise.

But this week in Arizona, during a hearing on a bill to get pornography out of school classrooms and libraries, a “teacher” lectured the legislators like so:

Education is all about “socialization,” she said. “The purpose of public education is not to teach not only what parents want their children to be taught, it is to teach them what society needs them to be taught” (https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/arizona-teacher-tells-lawmakers-that-parents-are-unqualified-to-oppose-lgbt-propaganda-in-classrooms/?utm_source=featured-news&utm_campaign=usa).

But wait, there’s more!

“I have a master’s degree! What have parents got?”

Not to keep you in suspense: the Senate committee passed the bill and moved it on up to the next level.

But meanwhile, who or what does this jidrool mean by “society”? Teacher unions? Her nutty professors at the teachers’ college? Where do parents fit into… “society”? Maybe at the very bottom? As in “Just shut up and pay your taxes”?

People! America’s unionized public school teachers are not going to change! They are not going to wake up some morning and say “Let’s try being sane and decent for a while.” These characters are grooming your children for sex. They are committed to the erasure of the family. They are not going to stop.

But you can stop them. Pull 50 million children out of the public schools and see what happens to Far Left Crazy.

No, I did not watch the Grammy Awards last night. So I missed MSNBC’s “Joy” Reid saying “The culture wars are over and The Left won!” (https://dailycaller.com/2023/02/06/joy-reid-ron-desantis-grammys-culture-war/).

Yeah. Oh, boy–Satanism! Oh, boy–sodomy! Oh, boy, wow–diversity,equity, and inclusion! On behalf of all this great stuff, Reid celebrated “the total defeat” of conservatism. “They can’t win!”

The ratings for this monstrosity were up 30% from last year. I don’t know why; but I strongly suspect that it does not mean that the American people have embraced the Far Left Crazy. I don’t know how the Left gets away with continually and even obsessively provoking us, but I’m pretty sure most of us have not switched sides.

The Left thinks it’s won the culture wars.

I pray it’s the beginning of their collapse. Meanwhile, I’m still fighting.

 

Schiff-Head Threatens Social Media Companies

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Mordor), last heard from whipping up fake impeachments and colluding to smear President Donald Trump, went on TV this past weekend to threaten the social media companies (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/12/schiff-threatens-social-media-companies-responsible-moderators-content-will-give-immunity-video/).

Said he, “If you’ll be responsible moderators of content–” censors, he means–“we will give you immunity.” Play ball with us, boys, or you don’t play ball at all.

Currently, a law called Sec. 230 gives the social media immunity from lawsuits over content written by others. Schiff wants to take that away unless they continue to censor conservatives and Republicans.

How did this nasty little bug-eyed monkey ever wind up in Congress? It’s a shame to us, to be governed by the likes of him.

To Schiff et al, anything that’s not strictly the party line is “hate” or “misinformation” and needs to be silenced by the government. The Democrat government, that is.

They’d wipe out our freedoms in an hour, if they could.

Not that Democrats whining about the Electoral College is really news, because they do it all the time. But today “Election Denial” is a thing to be punished, if a Republican does it. Elections are only dirty if Democrats lose. Otherwise, as pure as the driven snow.

Election Day’s tomorrow. Just about everybody expects the Dems to get scalded. They have richly deserved it. We can’t take another two years of their malice, their lies, their sheer incompetence, their crimes, and perversion.

But you know they’re cheating. Will they be able to cheat their way to victory?

P.S.–I hope the record clearly shows that for Democrats to accuse anyone of “Election Denial” is truly deep hypocrisy.

Liberalism: Dangerously Silly

In a couple of weeks Americans will have a chance to root a lot of silly and wicked people out of Congress. We are running out of chances to do this.

They’re betting “vote-by-mail” can pull them through, when no one in his right mind would ever vote for any of their public policies. They will cheat again. They worship power, crave it, live for it, and will do anything, absolutely anything, to get it and keep it.

We can stop them. We can vote them out. And we have to, if we want our nation to survive as anything more than just a name on a map.

Libs think the First Amendment only applies to them–no one else.

Wonder of wonders! A superior court judge in California, of all places, has ruled that the state cannot force you to say and do things contrary to your religious beliefs.

I’m not linking to this news story, nor providing any proper names, lest some troll should see it and use the information to launch a campaign of harassment against the defendant or the judge. It’s too bad I have to do that, but that’s the age we’re living in and it won’t get better for as long as Democrats hold public office.

The judge ruled that creating a wedding cake is “artistic expression”–which of course it is–and that no one can be compelled to create a work of art for a same-sex “wedding.” The baker did refer the, uh, “couple” to another bakery, but that’s never good enough, is it? Once they’ve got your First Amendment rights in the crosshairs, the Far Left will always shoot.

Simply, the judge ruled (I repeat for the sake of clarity) that the state cannot force a person to create a piece of art against his or her will.

As a novelist, that’s a relief to me. I can easily imagine a writer being sued for not including “positive gay characters,” or whatever, in a story. Don’t laugh: they fired the creator of Midsomer Murders–and “investigated” him, as if he’d committed a crime!–for not including more “minority” characters in his screenplays.

There are a lot of people out there trying to erase our freedom. But at least one judge isn’t with them.

Is It Hubris… Or What?

You know I don’t like to do nooze on the weekends, but I have a question that just keeps nagging at me. Some of you may want to weigh in on it.

The mask of sanity has been torn off this alleged presidential administration. They aren’t trying anymore to act like the elected functionaries of a republic. They’ve turned the FBI into a goon squad. They’re in bed with the Chicoms. They’ve cut off much of our energy supply. Unionized “teachers” blatantly work to herd other people’s children into the wonderful world of Trans. They censor their critics. They act like they can do just anything they please and no one can stop them.

Here’s my question: Is this just plain hubris on a colossal scale… or do they know something that convinces them that there’s no way to rein them in? Have they found a fool-proof way to cheat their way through the midterm elections?

God help us if they have.
