A reader tipped me off yesterday that Donald Trump said “transgender people” should have the right–the right? Is that a proper use of the word?– to use any bathroom they please. I checked it out, it’s true, and I can no longer support this candidate. I guess that leaves only Ted Cruz.

Sorry, but this is a hill to die on. It’s as if the whole ruling class of the Western world woke up one morning and cried out, while still in bed, “Transgender! We’ve gotta have transgender! And we’ve gotta have it now, now, now!”

It has to stop. It has to be stopped. Just this week, Target Stores announced that their bathrooms would be “gender-neutral” from now on. That means men intruding on little girls. And baseball great Curt Schilling was fired by ESPN for tweeting–didn’t even say it on the air, mind you–that men don’t belong in women’s bathrooms.

It has to be stopped, stopped and rolled back. If not, something even worse–more insane, more perverted–will soon arise to follow it. I do not want to see what that will be.

May God remember that these things are done without our consent, against our will, and over our objections.

P.S.–Meanwhile, police have been busting male perverts who go into women’s bathrooms to take pictures: in this case, of a 10-year-old girl using the toilet ( http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/04/21/pa-man-accused-peeping-restroom-hit-child-porn-charges/ ).

I am Confused (About This Election)

I suppose in the end it will be obvious: vote for whoever the Republicans nominate, or else get Hillary and kiss America goodbye. Unless she gets indicted first.

I think we have been here before.

First I was for Cruz, then for Trump, and now it’s I dunno. There’s something about the Cruz campaign that makes me uneasy. As for Trump, how is that anything but a crap shoot?

I was for Cruz because I thought he was a real conservative, if there is such a thing anywhere in our political class. I was for Trump because I passionately detest the Republican Party leadership and want to see it kicked down the stairs. But in the meantime, the partisans of both Cruz and Trump are tearing down each other’s candidate so badly that it may not be possible to repair the damage in time to keep Mrs. Bloody Awful out of the White House.

I have a soft spot for Ben Carson, but, gee–now he wants to do away with the Electoral College, the only thing that keeps the country from being ruled forever by a couple of Democrat machines in large, incredibly corrupt cities in a handful of states. Anyhow, he’s not running anymore.

O Lord my God, if you’re thinking of intervening in America’s national life just about now, I think it’d be a very good time for you to do so.

NJ Man Faces Jail–for Flying ‘Trump Flag’

Here’s a lawn sign you can have in New Jersey without the cops hassling you and Democrats trying to throw you into jail.

My home state of New Jersey takes a back seat to no one, when it comes to tyrannical liberals trampling people into the dust.

There’s a guy in Long Branch who could be sent to jail for 90 days for flying a Donald Trump campaign flag… on his own property ( http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/New-Jersey-Homeowner-Cited-Flying-Donald-Trump-Campaign-Flag-Too-Early-374982211.html ). But we already know what the state of New Jersey thinks of private property rights.

There’s a law that says you can’t put up a sign for a political campaign more than 30 days before an election.

But surely you can fly the ol’ Transgender flag, or the homosexual Rainbow flag, or the Cuban Castro flag, or the North Korean flag, etc., 365 days a year, no questions asked.

In New Jersey and other Democrat hellholes, “free speech” means you’re always free to agree with liberals. Period. Anything else, you’d better watch your mouth.

Here in my home town there’s a doofus who put up his “Bernie” sign (Bernie Sanders the socialist nut case for president) a good five months ago, at least–well in advance of our June-something primary election. And there have been a few Hillary signs, too.

I dunno–is it a safe space issue? Are college students writing our laws, these days?

China Warms U.S.: Don’t Elect Trump

How about that? The world’s largest remaining communist country–in fact, China’s more fascist than communist, anymore, but they do still have that hammer and sickle on their stationery–has warned the American people not to elect Donald Trump as president, or else.

An editorial in the Chinese government-controlled Global News compares Trump to Mussolini and Hitler–but Chairman Mao was worse than either of those two–calls him “racist and extremist,” is really, really mad at him for promising to retaliate against China’s currency manipulating practices, and wraps it up by calling him a “rich narcissist.” Well, we’re sorry, comrades, but we can’t seem to get any poor narcissists to run for president. But you don’t seem to mind the narcissist we’ve got right now.

Now, does all this work out to a roundabout Red Chinese endorsement of some other candidate? Which one do they want to be president, and why don’t they just come right out and say so? Come on–which of the other candidates gets that coveted Communist Chinese endorsement?

What? We don’t need a Red Chinese endorsement, when we’ve already got the New York Times?

Hey, maybe we could whip up a quick treaty that says no future president of the United States can be inaugurated without Red Chinese approval.

I know, I know–don’t give the Democrats ideas.

‘Trump’s a Nazi’: You Saw It First on Fawlty Towers

Consider the prophetic quality of this bit from Fawlty Towers, filmed back around 1970.

Basil Fawlty (John Cleese), having abused, neglected, and insulted his hotel guests past the point of no return, spins around and blames them for everything. He is especially angry with the American guest who called him out for his incredibly shoddy and incompetent service.

Kind of like Donald Trump has called out the Republican establishment. If they had a hotel, it would be Fawlty Towers.

And wouldn’t you know it? Basil, berating his guests, goes on to say, “This is exactly how Nazi Germany got started!”

Ooh! Decades later, Trump and angry voters are blamed for the prat falls of the GOP–and they’re calling his supporters “Nazis” because they raised their hands, and Trump is “Hitler” and “Mussolini,” and so on.

I haven’t seen such irrational hatred of a candidate, and heard such pure venomous twaddle spouted about him, since poor Barry Goldwater in 1964 was accused to wanting to blow up the world. The Democrats actually ran a TV ad claiming that mushroom clouds would spring up all over the world if Goldwater were elected.

If these bums are so afraid of Trump, there must be something good about him.

Teen Busted (Again) for Impersonating Doctor (Again)

The criminal mind, usually so intractably stupid, occasionally bursts out in misdemeanors and felonies so creative, so energetic, and so grand, that it leaves us wondering what such a criminal might achieve if he could only channel all that oomph into some honest enterprise.

Case in point: Malachi Love-Robinson, now 18, who has successfully tricked quite a few people, over the past two years, into thinking he’s a medical doctor ( http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/palm-beach/fl-teen-doctor-arrested-again-20160302-story.html ). Malachi has been busted again, and is this time accused of having robbed and swindled his patients. When he was busted last year, at the age of 17, it was for performing physical exams and giving medical advice as if he really were a doctor and not just a kid in a white lab coat.

Malachi’s defense attorney has praised the lad’s entrepreneurial spirit, likening him to Donald Trump or Bill Gates.

You’d think someone would come along and give this kid a scholarship to medical school, if only just to see if he has what it takes to become an official and bona fide medical doctor. Of course, his criminal background would be an impediment.

Imagine, though, if some of these really creative and hard-working criminals were honest! They might achieve great things. Instead, they waste their efforts on crooked little schemes that really don’t amount to anything.

Puzzling, isn’t it?

Nationally syndicated columnist Peggy Noonan has a piece in The Wall Street Journal, “Trump and the Rise of the Unprotected” ( http://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-and-the-rise-of-the-unprotected-1456448550 ), which sounds an awful lot like some of the stuff I’ve posted here lately, for instance yesterday, The War on Normal People ( http://leeduigon.com/2016/02/26/the-war-on-normal-people/ ).

Does that mean she’s reading this blog and echoing its posts?

Nah. It only means certain ideas are so flaming obvious, they’re now occurring to a lot of different people all at once.

It’s true: the ruling classes of the Western world are totally insulated from the baneful effects of their wicked, foolish public policies. It’s the normal people, “the unprotected,” who have to live with this and pay for it. And pay, and pay, and pay!

To quote Thomas Jefferson, “I tremble for my nation, when I reflect that God is just.”

And for those of you who wish to shave down the impact of the quote because Jefferson, you say, was a deist, not a Christian, hey–the point was so obvious, even a deist could see it.

God never lets this stuff go on forever.

Sanders Supporter Cries About Trump Voter Disagreeing With Her. LOLs Ensue…

Here is a young, collidge-eddicated Bernie Sanders supporter who was brought to tears by her astonishing discovery that Trump supporters in the South have opinions that differ from hers. So she went on Facebook to cry about it.

“It actually makes me sick!” she wailed. “These people think they won the Civil War!” And so on. She is truly flabbergasted that Donald Trump’s supporters in the Southern states don’t agree with Bernie Boy that we shouldn’t have national borders anymore and everyone who wants it should get as much free stuff as he wants. She can’t take it.

How much did it cost, in public money, college tuition fees, and student debt, to turn this young woman into a weeping ninny who can’t face a world in which there are opinions other than hers?

This is not going to turn out well for America.
