‘The Age of Nothingism’

See the source image

The first thing I saw when I turned on the computer this morning was Firefox “celebrating Pride Month.” Why are they “celebrating” homosexuality? God knows. And He will not forget that He knows.

The Age of Nothingism

“Nothingism” means “nothing good.” Our ruling class, our wealthy corporations, our (ahem!) “teachers”–the whole evil crowd of them–call evil good and good, evil. They see the same images we do, but they say, “Oh, that’s wonderful, we’ve got to have more of that!” Be it sidewalks heaped with human feces, city neighborhoods being put to the torch, or worse. There’s always worse, and they always seek it out.

May the Lord Our God defend us.

‘Just As I Am’

This is another hymn my mother and my aunts used to sing as they went about their housework. Here we have it by our dear friends and esteemed colleagues, Joshua and Jeremy–Just As I Am (Without One Plea).

A Naughty Parakeet

You’ve got this little box in which you like to keep your change. Lots of it, nickels, dimes, quarters. You’ve also got a parakeet.

We have many videos of cats pushing things off shelves for no describable reason. Maybe this parakeet thinks he’s a cat. His idea is to toss the coins out of the box.

Easy come, easy go…

Another Book I’m Not Gonna Read

sapientdream - Pastlives (lyrics) - YouTube

Fap! My toilet backed up again–must be time for some past lives regression therapy!

“How can I live as my aware self?”

The Perky Publicist is morphing into the Pesky Publicist, sending me emails about new books I ought to read. This one, whose title I decline to give, lest anyone buy it and then blame me, is all about New Age self-improvement.

Confound it, the Mets lost again! Must be time to re-adjust those chakras.

Why is it that the more technology we have in our lives, the more superstition we get to go with it? Somebody must be reading this bilge. Yee-hah, I was Uncle Floyd in a past life! What? Uncle Floyd is still alive? Well, how many Uncle Floyds are with us now? Coulda knocked me over with a feather.

Up next–join your local Self-Exhumation Society! You could wind up as a bona fide YouTube celebrity.

Byron’s TV Listings, June 26

CTVA - US TV Listings - 1965

G’day! It’s raining here on Rottnest Island, but we don’t care–we’ve got another fabulous weekend’s worth of Quokka University TV! Byron the Quokka here, serving as spokesquokka for QUTV because everybody else is hiding–some UN TV agency almost caught me last week.

Here’s some samples for you to lust after while I find a hiding place.

Ch.  12   MOVIE–Romance

Lord Jeremy Coldsore (Alan Hale) and Lady Margo Cargo (Katherine Hepburn) pursue a torrid romance in Oy, Rodney! (2020) But there’s a problem–Lady Margo’s upholstered wooden leg is missing! Constable Chumley: Rowan Atkinson. A Man Who Looks Like Lee J. Cobb: Lee J. Cobb

Ch. 19   WARTS AND ALL!–Game Show

Who’s got the biggest warts in the funniest shapes–and in the most unexpected places? Emcee Roberto “No mas!” Duran uses threats to get celebrity guests to show their warts. Tonight’s guests include Jim Bowie, Timon of Athens, Cardinal Richelieu, and Cher. With Dr. Fudgie Fauci and his orchestra.

8:06 P.M.   Ch. 43   GIANT BUGS ARE REAL!–Idiocy

Secret documentary films acquired by Joe & Jill Biden reveal small towns and even large cities, all over the world, menaced and attacked by colossal insects (if you want to count arachnids as insects). Commentary by a tongue-tied Irishman. Special guest: Sharon Stone, recently voted the world’s leading expert on spiders the size of a Dunkin Donuts stand.

Right! Well, there it is, and I’m snuggled up with my TV set someplace where the globalist hornswogglers can’t get me, with plenty of eucalyptus leaves to munch on–and Lee dreamed last night of a tree full of koalas, so this is probably not a good time to get him riled up, poor chap…

By Request, ‘Oh, Happy Day’

Requested by Susan–Korean Soul singing Oh, Happy Day. They’ve got their American accents down pat, both singing and talking.

And there are, by the way, a lot of Christians in South Korea–part of our family.

Weird Stuff Happening with This Blog

Pin on Oh my

Ever get the feeling everyone in town just snuck away and left you?

We’re closing in on another month featuring a loss of some 2,000 views compared to the same month last year. WordPress insists there’s nothing wrong. Honk if you believe that.

Some of you have found it practically impossible to get your comments published. I believe you, but I can’t explain it. Some of those comments that frustrated you actually wound up being published–don’t ask me how.

Although I have readers in every time zone on the planet, for some unknown reason, every night around 7 or 8 p.m. EST, viewer traffic here stops just about dead. Why should that be?

This kind of thing has happened to so many Christian and conservative bloggers, we just have to believe Big Tech is doing it on purpose. They’re afraid to ban us all outright, so they employ algorithms to cut back our viewership; they make our posts harder to find on search engines. They get away with this because it’s what our unlawful phony Democrat regime wants them to do.

Well… if we could somehow average 400 views a day for the last five days of June, we’d catch up to one of last year’s months. Last November and December, we were hitting that target every day. Now… never.

Christian bloggers, ahoy! We have to stick together. We have to support each other.

I think the way to do that is for each of us to display posts by other Christian bloggers on our own blogs. If you have a Christian blog and would like me to display one of your posts now and then, please just let me know! There will be no charge for this. It’ll cost you nothing but a few minutes of your time.

Let’s at least try to defeat the censors!

‘Contempt of the Court’ (Christian Blogger)

Our friend SlimJim was smokin’ with this post!

Contempt of the Court and thinking about God’s Judgment Day

He’s not the only one to wonder what’ll happen on Judgment Day when sophomoric doofuses accuse God of wrongdoing. Haven’t we all heard fat-heads do this?

Well, here on earth, if you show off like that in court, the judge will probably jail you for contempt of court. They don’t like being made to feel as if the court were there to amuse the defendant.

If you want to see a real-life example of what happens, there’s video embedded in the post.

Really–people who brag about how they’ll turn the tables on God have not the least idea of what they’re talking about.

‘How Bad Should Your Bad Guys Be?’ (2017)

Image result for images of richard iii

If he’s really worse than Shakespeare’s Richard III, or Iago, your villain’s got problems–which will be passed on to both the writer and the reader.

How Bad Should Your Bad Guys Be?

Well, okay, how many of us have to worry whether the villains we make up are credible? Oh, but many people do like to try their hand had writing a story, so these tips may not come amiss. And fiction can sometimes help us to understand what we see and hear in real life.

My villains all have something in common–they justify themselves to themselves. The elasticity of this approach is limitless. Even Stalin, Mao, or Hitler could have used it, and very likely did.

P.S.–I don’t believe Richard was anywhere near the villain Shakespeare made him out to be. He’s a great example of what happens when your enemies win and get to write the history.

‘Bringing in the Sheaves’

We can’t do better than this to start our day–a great old-fashioned hymn, Bringing in the Sheaves.

I wonder how many people even know what sheaves are, these days.

And Burl Ives is well worth remembering, too.
